We have sub for people playing less than a half. The thing is though you have no ruck to sub on (or no ruck which is why OOP)

So Steven was out, so hawkins goes in, grimes was out so Mckenzie goes in.

So normally Hanley would replace Nicholls, since Nicholls was subbed. But Hanley was also subbed and I have no more emergencies. Does Hanley go in because he played more game time, or does Nicholls stay in?

Zip, I think you have to nominate which position players will sub for before the round. So your emergency line would be:
E: Hanley (M), Hawkins (F),  Mckenzie (B), Hickey (R)

Since your ruck emergency couldn't cover, you can't use the sub rule.

this is correct. But on the spending more time on the field thing that means nothing. if they play under a half they are a sub. Only a non sub can replace a sub.
