Im still needing to upgrade a Ruck (Grundy) as well as offload Cripps & Wallis (M7,8)...

I'd love to get both Ablett and Goldstein but only have funds for 1.

Def: Shaw, Rance, Picken, Newnes, KK, Saad
Mid: Fyfe, Mundy, Danger, Ward, JPK, Selwood, Cripps, Wallis
Ricks: NicNat, Grundy
Fwd: Martin, Gray, Swan, TMitch, Bonts, Gawn

$200,000 kitty

Goldstein or Ablett??

Gigantor

Goldy

Will average as much as Gaz and more likely to play every game

Capper

Got to get GOldy especially against a ruckless Dons

How many trades do you have left?

Elcapitano

9 trades left...

Ohh I also have Bennell on the bench who I can offload, if you can think of my best moves??

PICCOLLO

What's your mid bench cover like with selwood out?

You can't go wrong with bringing in either of those guys tbh.

Look to get both or perhaps settle on Jacobs and Gaz?

Elcapitano

Mid Cover is (Steele, Heeney & McKenzie)

So I can use Steele as cover this week with Selwood out...
Id prefer to end up having the best with both Goldy & Ablett over getting Jacobs now.

How about these trades?

Cripps to Rocky
Bennell to Goldy (Moving Read Fwd)

Then next week,

Lonie to R Knight
Grundy to Bartel/Goddard (Moving Read back to Ruck)

This will leave me 5 trades,
Hopefully 1 more downgrade to bring in Ablett/Hanners/Beams whoevers performing (for Wallis)

having Bartel (or Bonts/Goddard) and Gawn as cover for mid/fwd & rucks

PICCOLLO

Like those trades.

You'll have solid cover too.

Heeney will be back in the 1s and be making you enough money to jump on an eliott yeo for def/mid cover in a few weeks.

Capper

Bennell might come back this week

Elcapitano

Even if Bennell is named (which I doubt) I'm going to offload him...

Started him this year and are sick of so many wasted weeks!!

Any other trade ideas??

Honestly I think you'd be silly to trade Bennell if he's back in, sure he's missing weeks but you've got Gawn for cover, and he's averaging 100...

You have Read as an R/F swingman, so if Bennell is back, swing Gawn into R2, R2 sorted. I think you've got bigger issues than R2 currently with Saad still on field at D6. Trade priority I think would be Saad, Wallis, Cripps and maybe even KKolo all before Grundy... Kolo should stay as long as he can keep this scoring up but then also be wary that he's a 30k swap to Hodge at the moment, or a profit to be made swapping to Simmo, Houli or TMac... just bear that in mind - Kolo to Houli  next week could make you 50+k and get you a player averaging ~10ppg more...

KK has averaged 112 in the last 5, and after a slow start has averaged 96 in the last 11 weeks, with only one sub 80 score (against the Hawks in Tassie, but still 20 touches) - surely that's not a problem in any of the back lines this year? If you have him as an 'issue' you'd be top 10 for sure!

Elcapitano

Yeah I know Saad is a problem,
If Bennell is named..
I can go -
Saad to Hodge
Wallis to Rocky

??
But then I still need to fit Ablett & Goldy in with not much $$ generation

Bennel will play seconds this week

Elcapitano

I just heard the same....

Time to offload, does that mean I should stick to my original thoughts?
Any better suggestions would be awesome...

Elcapitano

It sounds like Bennell will be in contention to be selected next week..

Trade or Hold?? Hmmmm....
What to do?!?!
