hard to see us winning

kilbluff1985

usually my midfielders are carrying my defenders and forwards but the opposite this week

Peruvian Panthers 16.14.110 lost to Chicago Sharks 16.15.111
(Real: 1643 vs 1659)

Super close one, Sharks just scrape home to keep their finals hopes going, while Peru will need to improve in the last two weeks to hold a spot in the top six.

Best
Peru: Ward, Cross, Rioli, Kennedy
Chicago: Harvey, Gaff, Roughead, Lynch, Parker, Ryder

Las Vegas Sinners 17.11.113 defeated New Jersey Devils 14.10.94
(Real: 1697 vs 1416)

Very poor by NJD, as the Sinners rebound from a big loss to a big win that should prevent them from claiming the spoon.

Best
Las Vegas: Caddy, Ziebell, Walker, Rockliff
New Jersey: Gray, McEvoy, Cunnington, Naitanui

New Brooklyn Hawks 20.3.123 San Francisco Grizzlies 18.18.126
(Real: 1843 vs 1897)

The hawks get ridiculously close in a game that came down to the wire - Brett Deledio's late 141 probably the difference in the clash, although gaining 33 points from the sub rule while the Hawks gained 0 also proved big, or maybe making Sam Jacobs (162) VC instead of C?

Best
Brooklyn: Jacobs, Spurr, Oxley, Blicavs, Hogan, Gunston
San Francisco: Deledio, Douglas, Shaw, Christensen, Stanton, Coniglio, Swallow, Martin

Santiago Cockerels 21.9.135 defeated Colorado Avalanche 20.11.131
(Real: 2023 vs 1971)

Match of the year surely? Insanity.

Best
Santiago: Ablett, Miller, Hartlett, Duncan, Armitage, Gawn, Crisp, Dunstan
Colorado: Thompson, Zorko, Williams, Mundy, Sidebottom, Hodge, Grigg, Murphy, Kelly, Bartel

Boston Terriers 21.9.135 defeated Quito Quetzals 18.10.118
(Real: 2030 vs 1768)

Second game in a row we have a 135, although this Terriers performance probably a bit underwhelming, considering they had a 221 as captain. Quito gained 115 points from the sub rule which helped - Cripps' 115 replacing Cloke's 1, but it wasn't nearly enough in a loss that could cost them finals.

Best
Boston: Goldstein, Dahlhaus, Dal Santo, Howe, Pendlebury, RIewoldt, Priddis
Quito: Yarran, Wingard, Cripps, Goddard, McVeigh

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 18.14.122 defeated Houston Bombers 16.18.114
(Real: 1837 vs 1711)

Houston were poor and Anaheim did just enough in a game that promised more.

Best
Anaheim: Smith, Dangerfield, Hurley, Curnow, Paparone, Hannebery
Houston: Boak, Motlop, Hill, Riewoldt, Masten, Walters

kilbluff1985

we were pretty lucky our average players made up for our usual guns poor games

Smith, Hurley, Curnow, Paparone

unlikely high scorers

Finally, and it took a record book score to do it  :P

Memphistopheles

God damn it Goldstein.

Came up against him as C in both the WXV and Americas SC XVIII.

Bane of my existance this week. At least I had him in RDT and Fantasy.
