Was planning on holding my trades with only 5 left but now with Shiel out for at least 6, I'm pretty much forced to trade. I only have 17k left as well so I literally can't afford anyone. So, I probably have to use two trades just to trade him to someone good but then I'm only left with 3 trades for the rest of the year :-\

Lever to Fields and Selwood  to GAJ this week. Sick of Selwood and him getting suspended is a good excuse to get rid of him. Leaves me 7 trades and team as below.

Def - Shaw, Houli, Rance, Newnes, C.Pearce, Simpson (Hamling, Fields)
Mid - Fyfe, Pendlebury,  Gaj, Hannebery, Beams, Ward, Parker, Lewis  (Steele, Stretch, Nelson)
Ruck - Goldy, Jacobs (Obrien )
Fwd - Martin, Gray, Swan, Goddard, Franklin, Bontempelli (Dale, Lambert)

Hoping for Steele to hodge in a few weeks and to use c.pearce as cover for mid/def.

Ablett in 2 trades or Rocky in 1? Either way, Cripps out.
Currently leaning towards GAJ. Think I can still get rocky a bit later if needed.

No way I'm getting Rocky. Had him twice already.

Last time back he scored well first game also then broke ribs again..

One big bump and his very weak ribs (after getting broken twice in 8 weeks) will go again.

Great scoring but at this time of the year trades are gold

Shiel out is already causing me a big headache.

I'm strapped for trades and cash, not a good combo.

I brought big Maxy in at 0.7% ownership, gonna need some more miracle work with Scooter at 0.7% ownership.

Cripps -> Scott Selwood
Shiel -> Gaz

The way I see it is: Gaz and Scooter are more likely to average 230 than any other combo at the same price (eg. Armitage/Sidey).  Scooter can be loopholed with JZ some weeks, which should also help.

Yeah true... but tackling is a lot different to a big bump or tackle when you don't see it coming.

On the subject of Daniel VS Knight.
- Daniel with a 67 in a WIN against Gold Coast VS Knight with a 70 in a HUGE LOSS (+ tragedy) against 2nd place Eagles IN PERTH.
- Daniel FORWARD VS Knight FORWARD/MID
- Steele FOWARD/MID in opposing position.

You would have to say go Knight? Right?
Then you effectively have two Steele's to switch with Knight where needed.

Okay all I need some serious trade advice. Ablett is accessible to me....

Bennell > Ablett (Steele to fwd)
- 2 upgrades remaining, 1 Fwd and 1 Def.

OR

Bennell > Rocky and Saad > Hodge (Steele to fwd)
- 1 upgrade remaining, 1 Fwd.

Keeping in mind Ablett would regain the Perma-Capt crown and I would be expecting 250-300points through him a week.....

Just wondering whether Steel is better in mids so his DPP is useful - I am assuming of course that you have no other MF DPP's in your mids.

JS is the concern for me...I think Daniel is slightly ahead of Knight
