Will the tragedy bind Dangerfield to Adelaide?

Just how close are footballers? Just how close was Paddy D to Phil Walsh? Could the unfortunate tragedy of Phil's passing bring Paddy close enough to the crows for him to actually stay in Adelaide? ???

My theory is now, he'd be a real barbie to even think of leaving. Things change, life goes on but tragedy can unite us all!

..................    God bless the Walsh family

interesting point, I hope it does and I can see that being a factor in his decision.

But it could go the other way as well - if nothing else, Walsh's death has shown that life can change in the blink of an eye; you don't know how much longer you've got your family for. Tragedy can strike anyone, anywhere. That could be a driving force for Paddy to be closer to his family

Never a good idea to make life changing decisions, or any decisions for that matter based on emotion.
Don't think this will have a bearing on his decision in the long run weather it's to stay or go

Spot on, and it's completely unfair to judge or expect Danger to stay now because of this. As tragic as it is, life goes on and Danger definitely doesn't have to base his future around this event. His decision does not reflect his thoughts on this situation one bit, and anyone who will feel like it does is delusional and out of touch

I reckon he was feeling even worse, knowing the fact that hes leaving, after something like this. Would feel bad. But like youve said, cant base his future on this unforeseen tragedy.

I'm more excited about the Wines/Dangerfield head-to-head this Sunday. Wines demolished Pendlebury last week (rank 1 in Champion Stats) and Dangerfield, Fyfe, & Ablett are probably the only other players in Pendle's tier.

Should be an incredible match-up and I'm hoping the 20 year old can continually gain more experience by defeating the competition's premier midfielders. I have him tipped for the captaincy when Boak retires one day in the distant future (I want to say Wingard as vice but I don't see him in a head leadership role)

Just a pity Crouchy Brad hasn't got onto the park this year! Wines v B Crouch will light up SHOWDOWNS for years! Wines by far the better atm but if Brad can ever get fit, he can match Wines output for sure

As for this Sunday, let's see Paddy v Wines! ;D both men might have new noses come Monday!

Geez i could unload after seeing that but i won't i like logging into FF. That there my friends is a flowering tool with more money than brains obviously. Alot of rumours flying around today that Danger is actually close to signing, as always take it with a pinch of salt as rumours are just that rumours they mean little till it happens but boy oh boy i hope he does and that idiot can go and get stuffed. >:(

Not fond of Dangerfield already (as part of our rival club)

If he moves to Collingwood I will genuinely dislike him as a player  :P

Furthermore, I don't think Dangerfield is the kind of guy who wants a sleeve tattoo hahaha
