Why the Stringer love on this thread? He's had a great year for a return of 78 ppg. Where do the extra 20 points suddenly come from?!

whats the max games you can play to get a discount?

Guideline is around 8 I think but they seem to wing it (aka judge it on a case by case basis)

Who are mills and hooper!?
Are they going to be drafted this year?

yes GWS academy and Sydney Academy players. Basically Henney.

should be cheaper then they are worth

Like the list Holz. But stringer,..., really? An average of 78.... Yeah he may boost it to 85... But he not a keeper and not much value so can't see why you'd select him?

Give the buddy news and yes not sure why i went stringer (totally un holz move)

Ill probably change Buddy Stringer to Roughy Menzel

Will wines be discounted at all I think he played 13 games! Will he only be cheaper because of his injury affected games?

no discount for 13 games. yes only cheaper becasue of injury games.

Similar to Bartel who will unlikely get discount but injury pushed his average down to 84

On that note im locking in Rocky at like 101

Money Shot

Shaw, Jaensch, Smith, Seedsman, Buckley, Schraenberg (2 rookies)
Fyfe, Rocky, Ablett, Pendles, Libba, Trengrove, Mills, Hooper (Freeman, Rookie, Rookie)
Goldy, Mummy (rookie)
Gray, Martin, Bontempelli, Bennell, Petrecca, Schade, (Menzel, rookie)

Defence

Shaw: Proven gun he is locked in.
Jaensch: Can easily go 90+ next season will be discounted.
Seedsman: He is a gun and at a new club will become a gun.
Smith: Can easily go back up too 90+ with more midfield time assuming danger leaves.
Buckley: My POD at this stage for a breakout year, up the blues ;).
Schraenberg: has had a few games to get up to AFL standard and looked pretty good.

Mids:
Rocky: Will be cheap and could easily average 130.
Fyfe: the new Ablett must have in my opinion.
Ablett: Still has it if he can stay on the park, I'm predicting that he will.
Pendles: Mr. Consistant will always go 115-120
Libba: He could be a top 10 mid by end of year. (Could be changed to Crouch, JOM or Prestia)
Trengrove: Think he could easily get an 80 avg and is too good to pass up at 200k
Mills/Hooper: Going off what Holz said and who wouldn't want two Heeneys in there team.
Freeman: Not 100% on him but if fit he should be a gun.

Rucks:
Goldy: Very expensive but worth the price tag.
Mummy: Should get a slight discount and had 2 games of 60s and is under priced.

Forwards:
Gray: Again a must have forward
Martin: He is only going to get better and I think he will be #1 forward by the end of the year.
Bennel: New club he will learn his lesson and become a gun.
Bontempelli: In an improving bulldog side he will become even more of a gun.
Schade: Will be a the Hogan of 2016 at Carlton ;).
Petrecca: Another Hogan like player missed a season and will become a gun.
Menzel: Showed signs of brilliance and with a full preseason will be worth the cash.

That's my team at the moment anyways. Assuming I have enough money haha

I wish I could fit Cripps in but he just isn't as good as Fyfe and Rocky yet ... give the 2017 brownlow medalist another year ;)

Think that'd be right call IMO Holz... When I read your post it looked good to me except Buddy and Stringer. Buddy has been the big fwd to buck the trend but think he's not worth it anymore... Disappointing this year and personal issues just make him more of a risk though he will no doubt still have the odd round where he'll go bang! Stringer is just no. His scores say it all.
Shaw, KK, Yeo, Smith... Rookies
GAJ, Pendles, Rocky, Crouch, Libba/ JOM... Rookies
2 of Martin, Nic Nat, Jacobs, Goldy probably unaffordable/ robs elsewhere rookie
Fwds... 2-3 Usual suspects... Proven types with mid dpp/roles... rookies

Excellent points re: Mummy... A ruck option I'll be looking at too.
