A top 4 team v the one holding the ladder up,not much to say except this could get ugly.
You just have to tip the Swans for this,Brisbane would need a miracle to win.

The AFL'S favorite side to take the chocolates here. Will probably give them a million dollars just for winning the game. expect 60-70 points pending weather.

I expect the Swans to take the long handle to the Lions this week. Kids avert your eyes

Ringo

Just want another competitive game from the boys. Will be interesting to see who lines up on Buddy and Tippett.  I expect Sauce to take whoever is closest the square and Andrews/Clarke to follow up the ground.  Andrews did a good job on a couple of forwards recently.

Expect Zac O'Brien to come in for Robinson and Rockliff for Green.  One of Beasley/Clarke/Andrews will make way for Sauce.

One of Mayes or Staker imo will make way for Hanley if he gets through Thursdays fitness test.

Despite the changes see a Swans victory can not go with heart but as long as we are not blown away will be happy. Will be a cold twilight game if weather predictions are correct and might have to get the long johns out to go to the game.

Ringo, I just got back from a couple of weeks in Brisbane and was in shorts and a t-shirt the whole time. You lot don't know how good you got it haha :P

It's just that when we get the short cold snap we usually feel it Quinny  ;) Know we have the best weather in Australia up here but we do get the occasional cold snap in Winter. Maximum temperature for Sunday is predicted at 17 degrees so will be a fair bit cooler by 4:40pm Bounce. Will also be very Windy from the South so blowing straight towards my seat.

Just hope the boys take some of the enthusiasm and momentum from the State of Orgin win into the game.  Expect as a Swans win as we have not beaten Sydney since 2009 and 4 of the last 5 matches margin has been 50 over points. Hannebery killed us the last 2 years so he may be a smokey Captain choice for captain.

On paper this is probably the worst game of the round (by some margin, too)

I hope the lions can muster up a strong and competitive effort, but the swans will most likely be too good. Swans have won 7 in a row against the lions since 2010, with the swans scoring 100+ each time and only once have Brisbane scored more than 70 (87 in 2010). A 70+ score by the offence or sub-100 conceded by the defence would be respectable, assuming the other part isn't shocking haha.

Final teams #AFLLionsSwans - No changes. Subs: Rohan Bewick (@brisbanelions) and Harry Cunningham (@sydneyswans)

Will be very Windy with  winds currently 30km/hr from the West,  So will be a 4/5 goal advantage to team running with the wind.

I will take a loss of 50 points or less as an improvement for us bear in mind 2nd v 18th.

Gigantor

Brisbane are a different team with the return of Sauce, Rocky and Hanley

Rhyce Shaw flower off

Stop kicking it in general as you only kick to the other team
