I know how it feels man

I had Sexton (played full game) on 8 and Lobbe (subbed out due to a horrific performance) on 22  :-[

To make things worse, Mackay (my sub) only scored 41  :-\

These dud performances are really holding the better players back, I'm happy because it's the only time this season I've had 3 players score +150 (if not only time ever)

yeah i had to give Dixon a go after last week knew i'd regret it i know he got injured but yeah
Same thoughts about Sexton, Aaron Hall, and Suban

Hopefully, Suban manages a decent score  :-\

With Dixon it's a 50/50 shot (either he fires and Lynch dives, or vice versa)
Flower me!!!  >:(

Flower you Suban! Flower you Sexton! 2 weeks now, 2 flowering spuds flower me over for 2 flowering weeks now!!! I'll be willing to trade these players for late draft picks tbh. Don't see any potential in them whatsoever - same goes for David Hackey  >:(

Shouldn't even be in the AFL imo

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.16.118 defeated Peruvian Panthers 17.10.112
(Real: 1776 vs 1674)

Probably too close for comfort for the Ducks, who will rue many poor performances who prevented a real percentage-booster. Dixon's 19 (replaced by sub Membrey's huge 26), Browne's 24, Smith's 50, Zaharakis' 53, Bell's 57, Wellingham's 63 and Swallow's 63 will anger the coaching staff, but huge performances by captain Hannebery (148) and Dangerfield (151) got them over the line. Bontempelli, Ward, and JPK were good for the visitors, but not too much after that. Peru's utility line scores read 74, 73, and 72 across, which is pretty spooky I suppose.

Best
Anaheim: Dangerfield, Hannebery, Hurley, Steven, Heppell, Nicholls, Birchall, Newnes
Peru: Bontempelli, Kennedy, Ward, Boyd

Houston Bombers 20.8.128 defeated Boston Terriers 20.6.126
(Real: 1924 vs 1884)

Breaks your heart to see such a big Boston performance go unrewarded. Wait - no it doesn't! Houston hit equal second, and in the process give the Grizzlies a seemingly unreachable 2-game lead at the top, assuming they get over the Sinners. So where was it won by Houston? Rance, Adams and captain Beams all scoring 140+ went a long way, or you could look at mid-season pick-up Jamie Macmillan's 96, or maybe a surprise 123 by Roberton. Captain Pendlebury was disappointing for the Terriers Puppies, should've captained Goldstein!

Best
Houston: Rance, Adams, Beams, Roberton, Ellis, Riewoldt, Masten, Boak, Kreuzer
Terriers: Goldstein, Dahlhaus, Barlow, Cotchin, Murphy, LeCras

Quito Quetzals 20.6.126 defeated Santiago Cockerels 18.9.117
(Real: 1886 vs 1758)

Very disheartening for Santiago - they had many great contributors including 3 scores over 150, but were let down by an equal amount of poor ones, while Quito continue to perform well.

Best
Quito: Mitchell, Langdon, McVeigh, Higgins, Lynch, Redden, Goddard, Simpson, Wingard
Santiago: Macrae, Ablett, Gawn, Rampe, Baguley, Crisp

Colorado Avalanche 19.10.124 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 12.16.88
(Real: 1858 vs 1315)

Colorado were good, but that was overshadowed by NBH being just pitiful. It's a game of experience into the young players' bodies, I guess. Colorado's percentage just skyrocketed. The 36-point margin is the third highest of all time.

Best
Colorado: Hodge, Swan, Zorko, Grigg, Sidebottom, Mundy, Murphy, Shuey, Jones
Brooklyn: Murdoch, Crouch

San Francisco Grizzlies 21.9.135 defeated Las Vegas Sinners 16.11.107
(Real: 2025 vs 1611)

Some people (well, mainly myself) have called the Grizzlies pretenders at the top of the ladder. Performances like these show otherwise. Ruthless and brutal, they romped home thanks to fantastic consistency across the board, their HGA of 62 pushing them over the 2000-barrier. 10 players in the best is the tied-third most of all-time, while the score of 135 is good for 4th. And with the Terriers losing, is the minor premiership race over?

Best
San Francisco: Wines, Deledio, Swallow, Shaw, Stanton, Montagna, Coniglio, Kolodjashnij, Miles, Jack
Las Vegas: Rockliff, Westhoff, Tippett, Mitchell, Selwood

New Jersey Devils 18.10.118 lost to Chicago Sharks 11.13.121
(Real: 1776 vs 1814)

Chicago get it done...just. A dominant backline (141, 138x1.5, 131, 128) held strong, but the rest of the team was poor. Good contest between two young sides.

Best
New Jersey: Breust, Naitanui, Hanley, Treloar, Shiels, McEvoy, Gray, Cunnington, Greene
Chicago: McDonald, Picken, Gibson, Yeo, Broadbent, Gaff, Selwood, Rischitelli

Relieved that it didn't come down to my decision to play Sexton/Suban over Hale. Only could have won if I played Macrae over Armitage in VC (didn't know how he would go against the Giants - his best team, however he only got 70 against them in R1) and played Hale over Sexton. Sexton & Suban are dropped for the season. One a sub threat, the other is just a spud, on a more positive note, I know the area of the list I need to focus on (bringing in more consistent scorers and pushing the spuds into the reserves - so demand for quality and depth). Mitch Duncan should hopefully return for rivalry round to get one more appearance for the season and give us a push (by forcing out another spud  :P ).

Also, Boston look as though they may be in trouble come round 15  :P

Saving ourselves for September :)
Lets put it this way... By the end of R14, San Fran's prospects of a guaranteed minor premiership are... GAWN!!!  :P
