Essendon lost to Sydney by 163 points in 1987, but did manage to score 73 points in the game, 20 more than today  :-X. The 7th biggest loss in Essendons history today. Barely Noticeable performance really.

I should stop taking jabs a the dons  :P

Losing to a developing bottom 6 side by 110 is a sacking offense.

Our loss today is worse than the loss Melbourne had a couple of years ago against Geelong which had Bailey sacked.

Just reading this thread now, MMM boys said during the call that Cooney had an abductor injury hence the reason he was subbed.
