Why wait for next year I traded Roughie to him as he was scoring the 90 average which is tops for a forward this year. to finish at F6

He might be, the AFL brought the rule in to stop players cannoning in just like Varcoe did. There wasn't a huge amount of force but it still isn't great.

Yeah to clarify. I meant in the sense that we spend every year looking for value picks, even if most don't come off, and next year we'll do the same.

So it got me to wondering how many players we've been passing over as 'obvious' rip offs - ie crisp was 400k for a guy that played 10 games, 2 games, 6 games in 3 years and was priced at 85, and a new club to boot - everything about him looked a rip off.... but he actually would have been a great pick.
