Interesting my captain is Paddy Danga, so no 150+(x2) then. Laird has been running hot lately and Lang and Jenkins average are well below the form they are in at the moment. I'd much prefer the game was played.
And where the hell was the song tonight?? Very unhappy about that. I can understand not playing the Crows game and having a minutes silence and the black arm bands and all but hey, we played, we won, I paid my money, I want my song! >:(

I really hope you're being sarcastic.

Ahh Mummy :'(

We have a problem here, Ele has named 2x Vice Captains. I don't think this would have happened if the team was named in the correct format, this is why we do it this way. Will have to discuss with GB as to what to do, a new rule will be brought in after we decide what to do. If anyone has an opinion on what would be the best way to go.. fire away, we will take all comments into consideration.

Coaches must name their team in this format

Captain: Player name
Vice Captain: Player name
Deputy Vice Captain: Player name

Backs: DEF , DEF , DEF , DEF, - Four starting defenders
Mids: MID, MID, MID, MID, MID, MID, - Six starting midfielders
Ruck: RUC - One starting ruck
Forwards: FWD, FWD, FWD, FWD, - Four starting forwards
Utilities: UTI, UTI, UTI, - Three starting utilities (These can be players from any position)
Interchange: DEF, MID, RUC, FWD -  PLEASE SPECIFY POSITIONS.
Emergencies: EMG, EMG, - Two emergencies (From any position)

LF

Maybe 1.5 for each rather than x2
Or previous weeks captain

Los Angeles Kings

DEF N.Malceksi, L.Spurr, S.Hurn, D.Rampe
MID J.P.Kennedy (C), J.Watson (VC), D.Mundy, B.Cunnington, J.McVeigh, M.Crouch
RUC M.Leuenberger
FWD J.Ziebell(M/F), T.Walker, A.Christensen(M/F), A.Goodes
INT C.Yarran, M.Hurley, L.Whitfield

EMG D.Towers(F), E.Curnow(C)

This team has been named incorrectly aswell ..once again because people fail to name their team in the correct format. When you name a team like this we could argue that 2 captains have been named ..Kennedy and Curnow. Please when you name positions especially the midfield can you make sure you use (M) for midfielders not (C). No EVC has been named. 4 interchange players/positions are to be named.

I was leaning towards previous weeks Captain/Vice and EVC selections, seems like the best way ?

I think consistently naming the team in the wrong format this was bound to happen. We have specific rules in place for things like this, if the team was named in the correct format without a captain at the top, we could move the order up so vc/dvc became c/vc. I guess seeing as we don't know which vc was supposed to be captain we go to previous weeks captains. Parker C, Armitage VC, Pendles DVC.

I think the rule should be:

the lowest scoring of the two = x2
the Higher scoring = x1.5

So it's not really a punishment, yet still may disadvantage them (depending on the difference in scores - leaving it up to chance)

R.Griffen

Not that hard to post a team correctly it has been the same all season

I don't see any point in playing sport if you can't celebrate a win. Would Phil want that? Call the games off and refund the $ if that's the case.

He may have intended one or the other as C and VC or he may have thought the C was still on Parker or, again, he may have named someone entirely different as C. I think reverting back to the last correctly named Captains is the best option, the same thing we do if coaches don't post a team, we use the previous weeks team. Again it's not really a punishment because he still gets C/VC score from players he has chosen.
