McKernan vs Gawn..

So I'm looking to offload Mitch Clark to one of these guys...
They both appear to have solid J.S and provide me ideal coverage on all Fwd/Ruck & Mids (using Steele & my Mid/Fwds)

Originally was planning on taking Gawn even at $410k as I see him staying close to the 100avg.

Or save $150k and now pick up McKernan who looked ok today?

I don't trust either to be honest. Would prefer Gawn of the two if I HAD to choose though - clear #1 at the dees, has dominated.
Would rather a premo forward who is (just about) guaranteed 80-110 every week.

i traded in mckernan last week.

i needed cash generation and with a few small trades i was happy to pick him up given his fwd ruck eligibility.

rewarded me with a 98 and he will be my cover for franklin whilst he is out. he could provide me with ruck cover towards years end that could be very valuable

....

that being said if i was in a perfect world where money wasnt an issue ... i would pick gawn ... but i do think that both have great value given  their dpp

to me, it depends on what purpose you're picking them for ... if it is as R2, you're looking at Gawn but hoping that he's the next coming of Stef Martin 2014 ... that's the risk in picking Gawn ...

if on the other hand you're looking for some rookie/mid-price cash generation and some F6/7 work, then McKernan is the go imo ...

for what it's worth, that's what i'm tossing up right now ... do I off-load Sloane to Gawn or McKernan (move Krak/Lambert to mids) and use Gawn/McKernan as F6 for a while??

Gawn has looked good, but i'm not quite sure he is the real deal and can emulate Stef Martin's run from last year ...

Wouldn't get sucked into McKernan just yet. Went at a ridiculously high 44.4% HOTA on the weekend, and only got 98. Expect 60-80 most weeks I reckon

If it's strictly a matter of who will score more then I think it is. If you need the ruck cover, and you are strapped for cash then I think Gawn might just edge ahead

I have 6 trades and $32k in the kitty.

I could grab Harvey and trade Lonie to McKernan for ruck support.

Rucks are Goldy and NicNat with Read at R3.

Worth grabbing McKernan too or just doing the 1 trade?  :-\
