Another with Mckernan over Gawn.   Regardless of next week.    Extra cash enabled me to bring in Rockliff and Hodge on top of getting ruck coverage for Maric when he goes on holiday next week

He is ONLY a ruck back up, NOT a full time ruck option.

Gawn was good today but ill take McK score today as cover for Maric.

If you have Gawn or McKernan as your perma Ruck then you are in big trouble.

Even if Gawn was a perma ruck his average is one of the best so far......

Keep trying to justify it to yourself while some of us enjoy Gawns 115 average.

For me its great to have an F6 with such scoring pertential that can swing into the ruck when needed (thanks Maric)....

All in saying is for bench cover I'd rather save a lot of $$ and use it elsewhere.

True Gawn killed McK this week and maybe next but last week was a different story and you never know what could happen.

Why would a bloke with a 115 average be ONLY backup and not a starter???

For the extra 85K paid for Gawn you get a starter every week, not just bench cover....

Gawn was a solid pick on the bubble. Well done to those who grabbed him. i would have got him if Tmitch was dropped last week. Got McKernan for cover instead as I didn't have to replace a player on the field. So far I think we are all winners if you got the right player for the right reason.

Plus the extra cash saved will get me Gaz next week! ;D
