Women's FIFA World Cup

Anyone going to watch the game tomorrow? Starts 6:00am AEST tomorrow morning pretty sure. Say what you want about women's soccer not being as good, but I've watched a few games this WC and the quality is still very good.

We should definitely all get behind the Matilda's, it's a World Cup qtr final!!

0-1 down :( Such a late goal too but they were outplayed for the entire match and they kinda saw it coming. Japan had two really good chances which ended up resulting in a corner, and as they were setting up you could see one of the defenders yelling coz they were starting to lose shape. Then they didn't lift and the goal was scored from the corner basically. :(

Still, pretty decent effort to reach the final 8. Not sure why Canada has pitches with fake grass on them though :P

Quarter finals is a decent result, can't do much about those kind of deflections though conceded one myself the other night.

Synthetic pitches are the worst thing to play on, until they can develop them to the standard of real grass they shouldn't be used.
