Seems ok sitting up there on the balcony watching, not sure if he's been for an xray as yet.
Thumbs can be a problem depending on where the break is, so if he does have a break hope it's in a good spot
rather than around a joint.

it was clearly out. so what if was just involuntary reaction, the ball was gonna hit the stumps and he was gonna be short.  it is out every day of the week

Not a great way to get a wicket but the ball was never going to hit Stokes so therefor he is technically out but I can't help but feel it was just a reflex thing from Stokes no intention to handle the ball just self preservation. In hindsight i'd prefer we called him back or nullified the appeal.
