The whole umpires call thing is rubbish.

What an excellent declaration from Cook there. Has much improved his captaincy from last series. Nice and aggressive.

It's just like FTP right. You can't pass every fielding check no matter how much you train, you just have to hope the ones you drop happen at the right time. Which in this case it did for England.

300 run opening partnership, knock off the defecit. Clarkey hits a double ton, we declare at 4-750 and then bowl out England for 200.  :P

Nah but in all honestly if we can catch the run deficit without losing anymore than 2 wickets we aren't out of this. Just need a massive turnaround from yesterday, a good start.

Is this the first Rogers/Warner 50 partnership of the series?

Yeah we really need to score 500 to make a game of this, Warner and Rogers have started well. One noticeable thing leaving the ball a lot better. After identifying this as an area of improvement I was sure we were going to see at least one aussie bat leave a ball that hits off stump, hopefully doesnt happen lol. Apart from Broad just before lunch bowlers dont look as threatening.

Interesting stat, in our first innings only EIGHT of the balls the English bowled were actually hitting the stumps.

This is getting boring (even for cricket), I'm going to play some silent hill

Somebody text me if something happens

Wow shows the lack of discipline or just playing to the conditions. I still reckon if we just left the ball better and got through the first 15 overs without much damage we could have got a decent score, a big if though given we lost like 8 wickets in that time lol.

Anyway, Bell just drops the ashes, the second time they've gone down in around 5 overs  :P

henry

100 run opening partnership up.

shower, as I was taking rogers goes, decent ball and good catch...

OHHH shower ITS A NO BALL flowerKKKK YEAHHHHHHH!!! shower THATS CLOSE, EVERYTHING GOING OUR WAY HERE WE GO BOYS

henry

Aha damn Rogers has to go this time, another excellent catch from Root. Geez thats close to a no ball as well. Stokes bowling well here, will be a tough start for Smith but if he gets through it bucky and warner have shown pitch is fine to bat on.

henry

O god its all going to shower again, now 4/ 136, have lost 4/23 and 3/6.....

roo boys!

Ben Stokes...what a spell and an unbelievable catch to get rid of Smith. Shame to see Smith miss out again, didn't do much wrong there
