Look at the difference at how Cook is nicking, compared to the Aussies - Voges and SMarsh in particular.

that's my story and I'm stickin to it :P

If you watched the analysis on TV you would see the difference in techniques - Aussies were nicking the ball in front of pads whereas Cook was nicking beside pads. I was more concerned with the nicks that flew between the slips and we did not touch them. Outbowled and Outfileded as well as outbatted for the day.

Funny how the innings lasted 111 balls (Nelsons number, 111 looks like stumps without bails on). But we are all forgetting the biggest facts from the day!!

1. Chris Rogers scored his first duck in test cricket. If he didn't get one this series and then retired he would have played the most tests without scoring a duck :(
2. Ian Bell got out for 1 run. This is the first time in test history a player has scored exactly 1 run in six innings in one calendar year.
