May have worked it out actually.

In the first test Australia played Warner, Haddin, Watson and Johnson.
In the second test they only played Warner and Johnson
So clearly Australia are trying to restore their three d***head policy that the selection team has set. I was surprised that Peter Siddle didn't come in for Starc last test to make sure that they got their 3 :P

In all seriousness I would think Haddin comes back if he is fit and healthy :)

Do not know whether this was posted earlier but if Australia had showed some batting fortitude in Cardiff and lasted till stumps in the 4th day we would have escaped wit a draw as no play would have been possible on the 5th day due to rain.  A huge case of if's as usual.

I don't think Hadds should come back in. His keeping in the first test was poor and his batting hasn't been that great recently. Nevill couldn't have done much more IMO. Kept excellently and batted well.

Bairstow comes into the squad for Ballance :( England have to keep their 3 Yorkshire policy otherwise that booming voice of Geoffrey Boycott's will be going off! Word is Rashid might play as well as Ali (Wood to go?) Which would mean England are now playing 2 batting ARs as frontline spinners, and will have an AR down at 9 (Like, a proper AR, not a Johnson "I'll score 100s when there's no pressure AR") which will be interesting. Basically it puts even more pressure on Broad and Anderson to take wickets.

Johnson only has one 100, and that was in an innings defeat against South Africa. he was the only Aussie to score a century in that match. fair to say there was a bit of pressure on that

I think you've mistaken Johnno for Broad PB :P

Jay

Lyth and Bairstow in the same team?

2-1

Well, pressure is kinda off when you're swinging knowing the game is lost right? ;)

Ok maybe Johnson was the wrong example, but Rashid is a batsman!
