For the life of me can not see why England would want to prepare slow pitches when they have one of the best new ball bowlers in the world in Anderson.  Reckon if this had been a traditional Lords pitch would have seen a much better battle between bat and ball.

Negate Starc and Johnson I guess.

Don't think England bowled THAT badly, they kept Australia under 4rpo and they started quicker. Those drops obviously hurt big time.

get that but surely Anderson and Broad can match Johnson and Starc. Agree England did not bowl too badly at all. Anderson I think was hampered by the slope and having to go round the wicket to left handers.

Underestimate Lyon "the destroyer" at your peril England. This pitch match may suit him big time   8)

Its the indian method. The more days of cricket you play, the more money you make!!

Time for some selfless, team-first batting. C'mon Marshy!

Prefer seeing him out there than Clarke or Voges trying to scratch around for form.

Jay

Damn..

BRING BACK WATTO!!! WOULD HAVE AT LEAST GOT TO 30 :P

Still some sorting out to be done amongst that middle order!

Clarke desperately needs to find some type of form.

Come on Smithy! I want to go to sleep :)
