Wake up call that we probably needed. Can't believe people saying it'd be a walk in the park. Was a 50/50 when Harris went down imo.

Got a real series on our hands. If we aren't at our best, Anderson, Broad and Root are simply too good.

Hope we can grind this match into tomorrow though.

412 is almost historically impossible to chase down, was surprised at the optimism on here.

Oops and there goes Haddin. I was about to post about getting through the day

Why are we getting out to Ali? He's part-timer quality ffs, but we're showing him no respect. Trying to hit him out the attack every time he comes on ::) he's not that good, just milk the runs imo. The bad balls will come.

Yep the strategy of hitting him out of the attack has failed.

He would like to be viewed as more than a part-timer Jay :P Would say he's more a batting AR though.

Yep, I think he's definitely a batting AR.

roo boys!

He's definitely nothing special, I mean none of his wickets have been him getting the batsman out, all the batsmen getting themselves out. Agree with Rusty, that was obviously a plan heading into the series and its backfired already, will need to reassess their approach towards Ali before Lords

Yeah Ali is rubbish

Only removed Smith, Clarke, Warner, and Haddin this test, pathetic.

Aussie's mindset was wrong - they got themselves out. He's mediocre, don't need to go after him. The runs will come.

Got to play each ball on it's merit, even to a lower quality bowler. Something we haven't done, and it's cost us.

So in other words, superior in every way to Nathan Lyon?

If you take wickets you're a valuable asset to your team, it doesn't matter how you go about it

Also, Watto out LBW, reviews and it's still out. Where have I seen this before?

Nige

This Watson bloke has no self restraint when it comes to reviewing any LBW given against him, it's almost comical now.  ;D
