Heat got an absolute steal in Justise! Thought he was gonna be going to NYK if none of the big three slid.

Plumlee and RHJ go to Portland for Steve Blake and Pat Connaughton

You think they are going to Aldridge.... pick up Batum in a trade and now Plumlee

Maybe I don't know this sport or something (that's probably it tbh), but why were four Kentucky players taken at picks 1, 6, 12, and 13 (plus 44 and 48) while two Badgers in Frankie and Dek were only taken at 9 and 18, despite the fact that we absolutely blew them the flower out in that big tournament?

Only college to have players drafted in the first 15 picks of the NFL and NBA drafts tho :D

Guess I gotta start going for Charlotte and Houston for Frank the Tank and Sammy

Toga

Probably because individually they are better (or lower risk) players.... :P

Not sure if you know much about college basketball but the teams that are successful in the championship play team basketball and a built to play as a team. Kentucky had raw talent that had been shown previously like in High School. When it come to winning 38 games in a row along the way players had off night. Guys like Towns, Lyles, Booker all won games for Kentucky which proved they were big time players

As a Phoenix Suns supporter I am very happy with the pick up of Booker 8)
I think he could of easily been a top 10 pick so happy with him :)

Let's hope we don't do any bad trades :-X

agreed Booker was who i wanted the Heat to take until amazingly Winslow fell in our lap, Booker is an all round talent

Jayman's gonna be upset - he wanted Boston to trade up to get Willie Cauley-Stein
Yep. I just wanted to trade up, we have so many assets, I'd rather cash a few of them in for a potential all-star rather than just average players. We have enough of them. WCS to the Kings is interesting to me, not perfect fit but probably best player available. Needs to work on that jumper so he can play with Cousins.

Marc Stein just tweeted that Celtics and Hornets are discussing a deal

Boston gives pick 16 & 28 for pick 9
I wish. And the Hornets should have took that. Taking Kaminski at 9 was the worst selection of the draft imo. They already have bigs who can't defend (Jefferson, Zeller, Hawes). I just can't understand how they think Kamisky fits in well. A reach if I have ever seen one tbh.

Terry Rozier ???

3 PG's on the roster now with Smart, Thomas and now Rozier - this pick doesnt make sense to me???
Shocking decision. I'm not saying that Rozier will be a terrible player, although I haven't watched enough of him to have an informed opinion, I would have definitely preferred Dekker. And Rozier was going in the 2nd rounds in many mock drafts, so why not at least trade down and pick him up later whilst grabbing extra assets. It's the type of thing Boston usually do, but today, we blinked. Also makes you realise how valuable tanking is, compared to scraping into the playoffs and getting a mediocre pick.

i dont think Jayman is gonna be disappointed, not elated either

He would be happy with Hunter as their 2nd pick.... unless a deal gets done involving one of the guards I think he is gonna be pretty upset with their 1st pick
Exactly right. I prefer Hunter to Rozier, irrelevant of where they were drafted. I thought Hunter could go in the lottery.

This is why when you were celebrating each win I was saying its bad as should have tanked properly.

Big free agency might save you with the Boston name

It was a fun season, just comes at a cost later on - which is silly that you penalise teams for trying to win.

Frankie and Dek were our best players by a country mile last season - Gasser, Koenig, and Hayes were alright but not necessities. They won games all season for us, especially late on - yes, including against cowucky.

Helps being 22 years old going up against Freshman, which is why Kaminsky was drafted way too high. Had a great season in college but not enough upside to be a high pick in the NBA. Dekker I like, was great value for Houston.

Booker was definitely the best player in that bracket of picks, Knight, Bledsoe, Booker is a wicked first 3
