Hey guys, I tried trawling through this thread without luck.

What was the decision on the top up players given to teams last year? Can we choose to keep them if we want?
Yeah you can keep them, no redrafting required

cool - cheers!!!

Jukes

Yeah as PSK says they're your property, but you'll of course have to delist x amount of more players (or draft x amount of less players) than other teams due to the top-ups to get to the required 56 players.

Can you have less than 56 players?

Nope, at the start of next season you must have exactly 56 players on your roster - don't worry about that though, you'll just be allowed extra picks at the end of the rookie draft to ensure you get up to 56.

Alternatively, you could help get Quito's list down to size whilst adding to the size of your own with something half-decent  ;)

There's a reason you don't want those players  ;)

you been busy Jukes?

noticed the trade thread not been updated for ages

Nige

Hey guys, Jukes and I have been and are becoming increasingly busy so with Jukes' suggestion and consent we'll be running an informal application process for somewhat of a part-time admin role, nothing too strenuous really, just helping updating draft threads if need be and maybe scores throughout the year.

If you're interested in helping out, fire a PM my way with a line or two and we'll take it from there. Cheers!

I have been very busy in fact! Hence why Nige's above post. I've had uni really heating up recently (semester 2 year three, although I have another semester to go this is always going to be a hard one) and I have three exams next week, in addition to going through a lengthy application/training process for a new job I've been accepted for that will be 7:30 to 5 Monday to Friday (and then I'll be wanting to spend Saturday and Sunday with the gf), hence why I haven't been around here much and won't be for the future.

edit: have updated both the trade thread and NAT and Rookie Draft thread OPs

I'm aware that some coaches went to the effort of updating their team scores on their own accord throughout the season. When I was doing scores for this past season, I had a spreadsheet set up to calculate the scores automatically. With some help, I ended up making it even better so that is even more streamlined. Basically, all it requires is for coaches to input their team and the scores in their respective columns as well as captain and vice captain, and the rest basically adds itself up.

Would anyone be interested in using it?

Yeah I would, I would just need you to update the scores after scaling (because I use FF for SC scores)

FF is generally accurate for SC scores as long as you wait until they're scaled (so like 30-45 minutes after the match is done). Can fact-check it with Herald Sun's SC scores (Google live supercoach scores) so you know if they're up-to-date or not.
