Haha sorry mate. But Doedee is genuinely good. First round pick, and has been dominating the SANFL in just his first year. Is an intercept mark beast so should be good for SC. Also leads the Crows two's in rebound 50s and is 9th in the comp for spoils.

If he was playing in a team as bad as Essington he'd certainly have played a game ;) Crows backline is hard to break into, but I could see him even getting a crack in the next two weeks if we decide to rest a couple. Certainly a promising player for the future - I targeted him from Jukes for a reason, but then I ended up needing a fwd rather than def, hence this swap.

Just wondering, how many of you guys' (mostly people who have been with their side for at least 2-3 seasons) best XVIII did you draft in the initial draft/have when you got to the club?

I still have:
D: Zac Williams (pick 558 too!), Jasper Pittard (pick 179 - right behind Campbell Heath and Tim Mohr!)
M: Kieren Jack (what a waste of pick 14), Stephen Coniglio (I thought I overdrafted him at pick 78, how wrong was I!)
R: Stef Martin (very decent value at pick 238 - Max Bailey, Shaun Hampson, Billy Longer, and Rhys Stanley taken right before him)
F: None
U: Anthony Miles (pick 275, that value)
Emg: Matt Leuenberger (pick 51, what an overdraft - although Jon Giles went next pick)

Fair few depth players I still have from that draft: Scotty Thompson, Clay Cameron, Billie Smedts, Dick Douglas, Matt Shaw, Jason Tutt - all spuds!

So one major issue of the comp atm is the Chicago Sharks - pope has been AWOL from this comp and FF for over a month now (last post July 13th). No idea why pope has been absent and we'll deal with that if/when he returns, but seeing as we haven't heard anything from him for over a month I've taken it upon myself to find the third head coach of the Chicago Sharks, FF regular Big Mac! I'm very confident he'll do a great job with a pretty decent list.

Not a great draft by Fish after Dusty at #69...Grima into Yarran, Higgins, Watts (GOAT), De Boer, Stevenson, Moloney, Hickey, Ibbottson, Horlin-Smith, Crozier, Frawley, Dickson, Macaffer, Varcoe, Liam Jones, Murdoch, Polec, Aaron Edwards, Sierakowski, Talia, Hardingham, Buckley, Calinnan, Tommy Walsh, Murray Newman, Derickx, Luke Mitchell, Fitzpatrick, Sam Frost, Fletcher Roberts, Tynan, Rodan, Giansiracusa, and Crowley. What a huge sack of spuds!
