Just a thought on Watson. He only played 12 games for Colorado last year, finishing up RD 14.
Stanton played full season.
Stanton may be more important team wise in the draft.
+1

It's also unlikely that Watson will play a game again.

I would rate Hooker quite highly as well

Hooker > Stanton > Watson

Heppell, Ryder, & Hurley are easily the top 3 imo

Hooker averaged 91 last season and would have had forward and defensive status. Houston can cover him to the same extent as San Francisco can cover Stanton.

The arguments against could be that this was Hooker's first premium season (although he was just under an 80 average over the 2013 & 14).

I would not compare him to Hurley solely because Anaheim has lost two premium defenders (I think the most equitable way to consider the players values is their place in the team at the time of the ban (coaches should not be disadvantaged if they went out of their way and made subsequent trades to help their club)).

Comparing Anaheim's loss compared to Houston's, that would be my basis for saying that Hurley is the bigger loss (plus the 5 extra points per game).

But I think Hooker is still worth a top 5 pick (Hibberd is another difficult one - he is has been one of the most consistent defenders in the comp. experiencing one substandard season last year). I would place Hooker in that Stanton range (along with Hibberd).

I think the top 3 picks would be locked at 1) Heppell, 2) Ryder, & 3) Hurley. I would probably place Hooker & Stanton (don't know which order though  :-\ ) as 4 & 5 (Hibberd & Watson following them)

The remaining picks will probably have to look at team needs

yeah i'm pretty happy with

Heppell
Ryder
Hurley
Hooker
Stanton
Hibberd
Watson

something like that

don't think it matters to much pretty happy i'm getting James Kelly the rest are fairly irrelevant i feel that i got Enright and with Kelly i'm a contender again

I think Kelly is still on Boston's list  :-\

It doesn't look like Boston delisted him (after they traded him in) - if that is the case he will not be available in the top-up draft

no well i mean possibly trading a 2016 NAT draft pick for a player to cover for a banned player

like i trade my 1st round NAT pick for Matt Boyd

OH right

Yeah that's fine with me

On the order - average or total points is the only OBJECTIVE way of sorting players so that's what we're going with. There is no certain method to convert the value of a d/r/f's points to a midfielder's points.

kilbluff1985

messaged CK today asking about a trade and he said he just wants to step down if possible because he doesnt think he will be fully committed this year

popedelio

I'm not too fussed on the priority of the top ups, I've fixed my problem now, basically I just dibs the top up ruckman ::) if they get one hahaha. Likely Luey will buckle under another injury :P
