Get scared everyone  :P

Biggest changes over the transfer period:

I have modeled some aspects of my list off a couple of the successful teams in the comp - namely big changes to my forward line in which I emulated Houston's forward system. I liked FF's system of having three dominant forwards from each club (i.e. Walter, Jroo, & Darling)  and one high scoring small-medium dpp (i.e. Steven Motlop) who would always maintain their forward status.

Accordingly, I have sought to do similar by obtaining what will hopefully be the next batch of dominate forwards (i.e. Ty Vickery at Richmond - like his odds against a perpetually injured Griffith - and Josh Bruce at St Kilda). Billings will serve a role similar to Motlop, however all our small forwards are in the development stages so we will hope Miller receive dpp status or Ahern bursts out the stables early (he has been incredibly in the NEAFL).

I would say we our one of the stronger clubs in terms of depth (although, whether most of that depth is starter material is another question  :-\).

Predicted position for 2016:

With injuries - 7-9th
Without injuries - 4-6th

Obviously making finals will solely depend on Gazza. Give him the C, and he's a one-man team  :P

Couple things I was thinking of adding for next year for AXVIII SC were a reserves competition and eliminator-style comp, plus changes to the all-star clashes.

For reserves one idea I had would be for everybody to name up to 5 players that are not in their XVIII and emgs, and the score from those guys is your reserves score - positions obviously not mattering. For example I could've named Jason Tutt, Cory Gregson, Nick Smith, Ben Lennon, and Zac Williams as my reserves outfit as they all played AFL but were not in my XVIII+emgs which would give me a score of 339 points, which I would divide by 5 (compared to the 15 of the normal competition) to give a score of 68.

And we could maybe add the subbed out player (or, if your sub isn't activated, the initial sub), and maybe a reserves captain?
Note: farrrr too lazy to do the worlds system of counting up every score not in your XVIII, ain't nobody got time fo dat

I have two ideas for an "eliminator-style" comp:
1. like the World Idol, just a plain knock-out system where the lowest score each week is eliminated.
2. like the eliminator competition in DT, get a random team each week in a knock-out clash until we get a grand final and winner

And lastly, the all-star break - a few options I guess:
1. keep the current system
2. an extra mid-season round of normal fixtures (rounds 11+12) and then all-star game (rounds 12+13)
3. two extra mid-season rounds (rounds 11+12 and rounds 12+13)
4. other?

Keen to hear thoughts - this isn't a vote or anything official, mind you.

I like the ressies idea. Measures quality of depth rather than quantity of depth. Plus its a hell of a lot easier.

Its far too early to look at the second two options now so I'll get to them later haha

Reserves comp a great idea.
Random eliminator sounds good.
All star option 2 works for me.

I like the reserves idea

No opinion on the eliminator. I think the issue is whether or not this will be too much of a burden on the moderators. If not, I'm fine with one or both of the ideas.

All I have to do is take scores without HGA and either play them off against each other or get the lowest and eliminate them :P

Don't mind ressies, though whats the point? doesn't really contribute to anything.

Eliminator I don't mind either format, bring it in  :)

Prefer to keep All-star break as is
