here is the list Nige http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,99636.0.html
Ahh yes, Nails' "pride and joy".

Pretty decent list actually, I'll give it some thought.

C'mon Nige ... don't let the elite talent of this group of coaches put you off.  ;)
Maybe I'll accept the role just to trade with ya.  8)

I'll trade this year   ;)

Pkbaldy

No chance at Pick #1 it'll be mine still.

I don't want to lose my assistant coach haha

But I recommend Nige for the role if he wants it, has been beneficial to the Cockerels over the last season in the rebuilding of the list (all the bad trades and draft picks were literally me acting alone). I'm sure the Devil's will be back to their competitive form in no time under him. It's sad to see him go but, like my beloved PAFC, I'll just imagine it as a compliment to my club's fine administration  :P

No, as in, you might not get it even when you finish last haha

Seeing as we had quite solid interest in the NJD job, I'm considering expanding the comp to 14 teams (big raise, I know).

Any good ideas as to how we could go about it? I reckon being able to poach players from other teams as free agents would be a solid starting point, obviously with teams able to protect players and having a limit on players from one team.

Hmmmm... Dunno about this. Feel like there's enough expansion going on around the site already but if people are really desperate I suppose.

kilbluff1985

not a fan of expanding unlike other comps we have to field 18 players instead of 15

This.

I feel for best 18s, 12 is the perfect number... If I had 5-10 less players I wouldn't even be able to name a midfield at the moment...

+1 ..having 12 teams i think helps keep a strong healthy competition, mid season drafts also seem to have quite a few good players to pick up as the player pool is greater. Helps the weaker teams improve and gives coaches hope of being able to rebuild a team. Nat and Rookie drafts are also stronger as there are more players to go around. I think the reason there is interest in teams on Americas is people can see the lists are pretty good as a result of only having 12 teams. Just my opinion but im open to change if that's what people want.

Nige

I just noticed how strong pretty much every team is with only 12 teams in the comp, keep it like that.

kilbluff1985

yeah it's great having such an even competition

i was kinda thinking about compo picks for the bottom 2 teams this year though they need help

The NJD/Ottawa list is actually decent.

Has a great midfield and good set of rucks (3 number one rucks) and some really good youth across the mids and fwds. Starting forwards and the whole back line is a problem.

How? How does a player in fantasy football say, "I'm sorry but I do not wish to extend my contract with your fantasy football team" hahaha. (unless you want to make the rule that if the player leave his team in reality, the coach must surrender them in fantasy hahaha - poor KB)

Maybe we give the 2 new coaches every teams' rookie listed players and they can share the first round of picks in the draft (national & rookie) - the latter part is like the AFL with GWS & Gold Coast - while they can trade those picks for premiums with other coaches - may be unfair to Pk as he needs his draft pick (so maybe he retains pick no. 1). This is make trading harder for the Cockerels (we were going to use our first round pick in a package deal), but in the end it's just a suggestion. Maybe the two expansion clubs also receive the same draft concessions next year as well

Got to agree, 12 clubs is better though, too many free wins last season.
