Well I definitely do from a biased perspective - worlds is way too serious and (to quote tbag) nerdy, with a ton of stupid and mostly unnecessary things such as tagging, form/confidence, mid-match tactics, weather etc

Plus with only 12 coaches makes us all feel a fair bit closer (if that makes sense) rather than the 20+ that worlds has

So people don't delist their players then have them picked up in the RD/PSD and they have to go after them again.

Couple of things guys

Firstly, we have 121 AFL-listed players leftover after drafting, with a fair few pretty solid prospects (Sproule, McInerney, Hartigan, Eagles, Draper, Simon White, and Zaccy Dawson, for example) hanging around without a team. How would you all feel about a mid-season draft for 2017 consisting of 2 or 4 rounds, and/or a pre-season draft taking place before round 1 and after the NAB Cup (or whatever it's called) practice matches, consisting of 2 rounds.

Second, I'm going to be on holiday up in Exmouth (regional WA) between the 19th (next Monday) and about the 6th of Jan, so don't expect me to be doing too much stuff around here for that period

If you're going to be away Jukesy, I'd be happy to give Nige a hand with the team lists and whatnot while you're away.
As for a mid season draft, it would make Americas a little more unique, but I don't think it is overly necessary. I think there's a little more entertainment in the trading of rookie picks to be able to pick up players in and order that is not the ladder order.
