Should we use a few different measures to work out the best team because if it's opinion based we'll never have a winner.  Maybe I could do a stats based system or fantasy based system (could prob do both with different types of rankings), maybe have a points based system like if a player wins an award they get 5pts, if they make the all-star team they get 2pts etc...any ideas?
i thought it was stats based ???

Original idea by Holz is i has nothing to do with stats...which I think looking at it now is impossible to judge the best team.

My Chumps

Just gotta get his head right. Playmaking point guard with a bunch of talent. The new Rocket, Ty Lawson.

Next pick soon.

My Chumps

Next up a guy that's come from nowhere to be a consistent threat.

Tobias Harris

C: Marc Gasol / Brook Lopez
PF: Kevin Love / Tim Duncan
SF: Paul George / Tobias Harris
SG: Khris Middleton / Kobe Bryant
PG: CP3 / Ty Lawson

Happy with it.

Jay

Love the Lawson pick. But thought you would have gone differently at SF. :o

Team looks great, a strong contender for best offensive team I reckon.

Hey all, im thinking of running a new NBA draft game as everyone seems to enjoy them. the difference this time is we draft a team now and than only judge who is the winner based off the 2015-2016 season.

so for example if we did this last year, Steph curry is no longer just an all star he is a MVP. Jimmy butler is no longer a role player he is an all star. Kevin durrant is no longer a MVP he is a injured super star struggling to string together games.

while it doesnt state stats, i cant see how stats arent paramount in that description, how else do you determine Durant value?

Isn't this just like setting up a Fantasy League?

its got nothing to do with stats. we normally just do a draft than judge it right after. this is just that but we judge it a year after.

kind of like how i basically looked at the dynasty draft now and our view of which team is better has greatly changed as players values has gone up and down. Guys like curry went 20th in that draft and bynum went just outside the top 10.

This was also posted, so yeah a bit confusing at how to rate the teams come season end, but I think you and are are very stats based due to being fantasy NBA studs.  ;)

Tobias and Lawson are steals his late, will just be interesting to see how Lawson and Harden play together, both will prob be slightly down on production as they are both high usage guys.

yeah i saw that, bit confusing, its impossible not count stats when the season played matters
example:
Durant plays 74 games averages 20ppg
Durant plays 74 games averages 30ppg
the stats have to matter

Yeah I think there's still 1 established great player left, and then plenty of high-upside guys!
