Similar to Holz, I want an elite 3pt sniper. Danny Green. He's been a really underrated part of the Spurs' success over the last 4 seasons. I see him as one of the best '3 and D' players in the league - with a 3pt% of 42%, and is 7th among all SGs in defensive real-plus-minus. His weakness is creating off the dribble, but in my team, he won't have to do any of that. Just asking him to hit over 40% of his threes and provide elite defense, which is so valuable in today's NBA. His numbers won't jump off the page from a 'fantasy' point of view, his value is more in real-life as he's opening the paint up the drivers/big guys to post up, and can guard three positions on defense.

PG: Mike Conley / Kyle Lowry
SG: Goran Dragic / Danny Green
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: Anthony Davis / Al Horford
C: DeMarcus Cousins / Joakim Noah

I need a another guard and theres quite a few still out there, i think I'm going to follow suit with a dead eye 3pt shooter coming off a horrific injury with a new team and to take some pressure off the Dirk man.  Give me Wesley Matthews!

Some of you might have gathered I'm a big fantasy NBA nut, think of The League, thats me during NBA season.  Going to have a bit of fun when all the teams are complete, I've got a few programs I use for my fantasy team that rates and ranks teams on overall projected statistics in custom category leagues.  I'll run it through our teams in a basic 8 or 9 cat league and put the rankings up plus will give  each team a write up from my point of view.  Then I'll run it again at all-star break on actual data with a mid season write up and then again at the end of regular season.  Gives a good idea of a teams strengths, weaknesses and how well balanced they are.
i went top 100 in standard league rankings last year ;)

Nice, I've never looked into that, I play in a couple of cash head to head leagues.  Good fun but sooo addictive, some times I feel like taking the year off, I did it once a few years back when I travelled through USA, was so good being able to watch live games and just cheer without thinking about what your guys are doing stat wise!

Ah just realised I can't get that info as our league does a custom 13 category league.
play one standard 10 team league, preferably win it then you can play champions league the following year, thats my main focus now, playing champions leagues, usually rotisserie because H2H is hard to keep up with if you dont have time to sit on the computer all day every day

So do you just go in a league against randoms then?  We have a roster of 10 active players and 4-6 bench players and have a games limit of 38 for the week, so we need to be pretty switched on with injuries.  I do my weeks roster for the week and update if needed with injuries or restings.

Yeah that's a really nice pick. So many great guards so could afford to wait on one ;)

Double Chumps and the final turn

Should we use a few different measures to work out the best team because if it's opinion based we'll never have a winner.  Maybe I could do a stats based system or fantasy based system (could prob do both with different types of rankings), maybe have a points based system like if a player wins an award they get 5pts, if they make the all-star team they get 2pts etc...any ideas?

If Chumps takes who I think he might, he'll have the two biggest steals of the draft  :-X
