Noah was the guy I was talking about. Pretty ridiculous he dropped so far.
its a gamble i wasnt prepared to take, same as Kobe, this seasons stats count not the past
Yeah you're right. Late in a draft, I don't mind taking a flyer though, and how far he was slipping he kinda turned into one. Even if he's 80% of what he was in the 2013 season, I'll be happy with the pick.

Kobe I wasn't touching with a 10ft pole though :P Whole team changes if you've got him (not saying it was a bad pick for Chumps, he could certainly go out on a really good season), but Noah you can just slot in on any team and if he's healthy, you'll get quality production.
agreed absolutely, if i started with the brow i couldve taken a few more risks ;)

His numbers didn't take a huge dip last season, it is just the injuries that you might have to worry about. He is still good enough to be a potential DPOY and the only big guys that are might rival his passing ability are Gasol (Grizz) and Cousins. I just found it interesting at some of the big guys going before him.

im not disputing your point of view, it fits with Jays team, not mine

my risk quota was full as far as injuries go, 3 of my top 4 guys are coming off injury plagued seasons Melo, Westbrook n Bosh

Noah? DPOY? No chance in hell with guys like Kawhi, Deandre, Gobert Dwight and Davis out there.  For this type of team and draft because there are so many great available players 1 injury is going to hurt your team, why risk it with injury prone guys like Noah, Dwight, Wade and Kobe who is prob the only guy I'd be willing to take that risk.  He's a high energy guy and just for that he's great in any team, but apart from a couple of big seasons he's a role player and there are half a dozen or more better C's than him.  And on top of that I'm a Bulls supporter!

My Chumps

Honestly I already regret the Kobe pick, but I was in a rush and just slapped it up. Still think he's set to average 20+ and off the bench I'll run with it.

Like I said, Kobe's the only guy I'd risk a pick with, with that mamba mentality he could be the steal of the draft.

Some of you might have gathered I'm a big fantasy NBA nut, think of The League, thats me during NBA season.  Going to have a bit of fun when all the teams are complete, I've got a few programs I use for my fantasy team that rates and ranks teams on overall projected statistics in custom category leagues.  I'll run it through our teams in a basic 8 or 9 cat league and put the rankings up plus will give  each team a write up from my point of view.  Then I'll run it again at all-star break on actual data with a mid season write up and then again at the end of regular season.  Gives a good idea of a teams strengths, weaknesses and how well balanced they are.

Nice, I've never looked into that, I play in a couple of cash head to head leagues.  Good fun but sooo addictive, some times I feel like taking the year off, I did it once a few years back when I travelled through USA, was so good being able to watch live games and just cheer without thinking about what your guys are doing stat wise!

Ah just realised I can't get that info as our league does a custom 13 category league.

play one standard 10 team league, preferably win it then you can play champions league the following year, thats my main focus now, playing champions leagues, usually rotisserie because H2H is hard to keep up with if you dont have time to sit on the computer all day every day

I was going to pick Whiteside Randolph or Noah with this pick as kinda need a big man.

however as im picking a bench I want a guy who can hit 3s. Curry is the best shot of the dribble but Kyle Korver is the best 3 point shooter in the land.

221/449 with a massive 49.2%

only had 65 less 3s then Curry last season despite taking 197 less shots. thats huge.

with Howard being injury prone im going to load up on big men

James Irving Rose Korver Leonard can rotate between the 3 postions.

Marcin Gortat,

the polish sledgehammer just does his work. nothing flashy exactly what i want from the bench
