My Chumps

Did I really just get this guy with the 35th pick? I didn't want him as a starter cause it looks bad when he averages 12-15 points in the regular season this year, but I think if last year showed us anything it's that come playoffs, this guy knows how to get it done. My first bench spot goes to the greatest Power Forward of all time.

Tim Duncan

Next pick up soon.

And I suppose I should pick up a shooting guard (or a SF that can play SG in this case) even though I'm really, really tempted to pick up a bloke to run my second team.

Awell, here goes to the guy that's come from the clouds to prove himself one of the finest 3-and-D defenders in the league and earnt himself a max deal. Working out with DWade over the offseason and at only 24, I reckon this guy could get even better this season. Completing the starting lineup is

Khris Middleton

Team
C: Marc Gasol
PF: Kevin Love / Tim Duncan
SF: Paul George
SG: Khris Middleton
PG: CP3

Jay

Duncan is exactly who I was talking about, he's still a top 15 player.. As you say, the raw 'points per game' numbers don't really indicate how good he still is because Pop doesn't like playing his star players big minutes in the regular season. He was the Spurs' best player in that playoff series last year by a long way, and almost single handedly got them to the next round. He'll be the Spurs' best big man this season and Chumps just got the steal of the draft :o

Really wanted to take him but felt Horford would suit my team better. Kinda regretting it after writing all that though :-\
Great pick!

Well since K-Midd was my first choice to have at SG, looks like i'm going with a washington backcourt, needed someone with that killer outside touch too.

Bradley Beal

We've seen what he produced in the playoffs, now it's time to see him do it consistently in the reg season.

This guys still got game left. Great coming off the bench and will keep my lane up for my drivers.

Dirk Nowitzki

Likewise I really rate this guy and having him come off the bench rather then giving him big minutes will mean that he can play at a high level. Which for him is very very high. I also have Irving James and now Rose so plenty of Point options

Derick Rose.

Almost took this guy to be my starting PG.. Surprised he's slipped this far, one of the best point guards in the east, Kyle Lowry. He's developed into a solid three-point shooter, which is what I want around Davis and Cousins - tough defender and he gets to the free-throw line. With Toronto's off-season moves he won't be asked to carry as much of the workload, which should keep him healthy. A back injury he suffered around the all-star break really slowed him down, but prior to that he was averaging 18.6 points and 7.2 assists with a 53.4 True Shooting %.

PG: Mike Conley / Kyle Lowry
SG: Goran Dragic
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: Anthony Davis
C: DeMarcus Cousins / Al Horford
