Right. So you still get a point for e.g. a screen pass that goes no where?

I don't really have a problem with QBs being slightly overvalued since they're the most important position by far anyway. And I still wouldn't have any QB in my top 15 anyway, even if it was standard. It's all demand/supply.

But if he is tackled for a loss of 5 yards on that screen he only gets a half point for the reception. With receptions it is a skill. Look at some of the best receivers in the league, they run those short-intermediate routes and are penalised in regular scoring formats. They could have 6 receptions for 60 yards and a TD, each of the other 5 catches resulting in a first down, where a big play guy like DJax could have 2 for 80 and a TD. In a PPR format the 6 for 60 and a TD works out to 18 points where the 2 for 80 and a TD will work out to 16. It is less about the lucky fluky plays and hoping that X player scores a TD and looking at guys with consistency. It's like if you played AFL fantasy and removed all points for marking the ball. It doesn't make sense.

The top 2 QB's were in full PPR formats with 4 points per passing TD, so bumping it to 6 points and keeping the 1 PPR the QB's are still overvalued but the full point per reception levels it out. 5 of the top 10 last year using our current scoring system were QB's (and 11 is also a QB). Having 6 and no PPR at all would just be crazy. Especially when we have a thinner talent pool in terms of starters being in a 12 man league.

Noted. So are we doing 0.5 points per reception or the full 1? Because that makes a huge difference when deciding between a RB or WE.

Full 1. If it was 4 yards per passing TD I would consider 0.5, but we will go with 6 and 1.

I just noticed ESPN raised their limit of leagues to 25. I'm probably going to have 100+ leagues this year now  :-[

Like Holz said Sunday the 6th. I think that is going to be the time that looks to work for everyone. If not people can set their pre draft ranks and remove players that are injured like Benjamin
