Monday yes probably is too late. Sunday its pushing it but I should be fine. Friday or Saturday is better though.

I reckon Friday or Saturday night will be difficult for most being a weekend and people generally will have plans.

I think Sunday might be the go for now unless we have a 3 or so unable to draft

There a couple of reasons

First game is on the 10th (11th here) and then the majority of the other games are on the Sunday (Monday here). The final pre-season games are on the Thursday US (Friday 4th here) and final cuts follow the days after.

It also limits the possibility of last minute injuries, lets depth charts play out with starters and we find out if some guys will be on PUP (physically unable to perform), IR (injured reserve) or if it is the designated to return IR.

For example someone like Arian Foster who was a 1st round pick before the injury, you will be able to get him later but it depends on which of these lists if any that he goes onto. If he is on IR he will be out for the season so there is no reason to draft him so it is a complete waste of a pick.

He was a quarter back that was famously hyped up huge. He got dropped from the NFL, spent a year in the Media and has made his way back onto a list. Don't pick him up, I was just making a joke.
