im in if you want me. I struggle with doing line ups but i draft well
NFL almost works in reverse, could miss your draft and work the wire well and win

like me last year haha

Drafted Gerhart, Cameron (both injury plagued), Marshall (crap), and Brees (below expectations), but managed to pick up guys like Forsett, Sanders, Gordon and the Texans D on the wire and went from 1-7 to 8-7 to a playoff win, fell short in the grannie tho :/

I have never done it but can imagine, watched the league and the waiver wire seems very very important. Always wanted to play in a fantasy football league.

im in if you will take me.

unlike in the NBA you actually follow a good team in the NFL.

go Pats

RiOtChEsS

Yeah, this is why I like to not have waivers reset at the end of each week to reverse standings. I have drafted really well in the past and have seen this happen to other teams as well where they win the first 6 and then copped mass injuries. You can't replace players because you are 1st for 4 weeks and last in the waivers. Reverse draft position and then when you use your waiver you go the back. Adds another element of strategy.

and no. I can create it now if you want and you guys can send through emails.

Are we doing 10 or 12? If we do 10 I will add another flex and bench spot so waivers shouldn't be as stacked.

RiOtChEsS

im easy, would just like to lock it in  ;)

Mat0369

I will create it now on ESPN. I will find a temp draft time at the end of pre-season. Everyone give me a night that works best for them between the 6th and 9th of September (Sunday-Wednesday). I will set it for 12 and if you guys can PM me your emails so you can join that will be great.

The temp list is

Jay
Plumdog
Riot
Holz
Jukes
Jukes bro
PB??

We have also had a few that have joined in the past like Capper but we have time.

We have at least 7-8 at the moment so I will make it 12 for the meantime. If it looks grim come draft time I will drop it down to 10.

I'm in. I'm good with any night, as long as it's night

I think this will be the general consensus with work or school for most. Only time we might look at a day draft is the Sunday but it will be finals time in the AFL so I think we might give that a pass. I just want to confirm when Riotchess works since I am pretty sure it is nights. We probably won't find a time to suit everyone so an autodraft might be the way to go if it is just one team (myself included).

Jay

Think Levis and Tex would be a couple more if we need the numbers.

#27
It's created. As I said PM me email addresses and I will shoot out invites.

Just want a general consensus thought on the following

Passing TD's 4 or 6 points? (I have it 4 currently)

Point per reception 0.5 or 1 points? (have it at 1)

Waivers reset to standings every week or use it and to the back? (last to back)

Trade deadline Thanksgiving?

Trade draft picks?

And if no to the trading picks, use a randomiser early to know where we draft or get ESPN to do it one hour before draft time?

Mat0369

And I have the playoff format set to 6 teams, 1 and 2 get a bye, playoffs start week 14 and run until week 16 which is the final which is normal.

Thanksgiving is week 12 which is when I have set our deadline. That will be 2 weeks before playoffs

Jay

In.

Must say I laughed at your team name, Liam :P
