Tinkering works, right?

I did the same thing with Ryan Matthews last week. My opponent had Murray so I didn't want him picking up his handcuff. I think it's smart use of the waiver system.

Very sneaky and very smart. I like it

Ethics though. Is it ethical and within the spirit to do that?

Matthews was a free agent. Add in the fact that Murray was injured everyone in the league should have been looking at picking him up as a spot starter or bench stash for the week. I have Shady in my other league, Karlos Williams was a FA, someone has grabbed Williams off waivers before my claim went through. Same deal. It's about working the wire to your teams advantage

You still have the guy on your list? Oh yeah that is fine frist in first served. I was more talking about the adding someone just to drop them again so they become unavailable for someone else.

I dropped him, he wasn't going to see the field anyway since I had better options as starters for the week and it looked like Murray was going to suit up before he felt tight in the warm up. I wasn't going to be up to play game time decisions at 3am so I grabbed Bradford again. Murray is supposed to back this week so he was a one week starter.

and the bold bit, that's called strategy  ;)

I think it's perfectly fine, waivers are there for a reason, and there's the added risk someone picks up the guy you dropped over the week too.
Next time Mat drops a player, someone should pick up the player he drops every time :P

Also I don't think what you did Mat is what Jay was trying to do just because he dropped Green at a time where everyone could see the transaction

Mat0369

In my other league I had been offering up Mike Wallace as trade bait to one team in particular as part of a deal for a TE. He kept saying he wasn't interested in Wallace since he is too streaky which is fair enough and true.

This week I needed a TE since my 3rd guy for the season got injured. Since Crockett didn't have a long term injury I dropped Wallace since he was my worst performing player. The dude that didn't want Wallace picked him up.

He basically did it just to piss me off but it's all fair game

Haha yeah I wouldn't look too far into it, basically just got mixed up as to when Gates was returning  :-[

Mat0369

I picked up Fleener when I noticed both Luck and Allen were out. Back up QB's tend to lean on their TE's. I am still rolling with the Browns TE in my other league but I am happy with that pick up so far.

BratPack

Of course Eli throws for three TD's against Buffalo when I finally sit him  ::)

Mat0369

My last second Fleener pick up scored 23.3. I'll take that. I also changed my pick to the Jags, freaking Jags.

RiOtChEsS

Hill and Ivory on the bench ::) Hill was still garbage yards wise but jagged 3 TD's Ivory was beast in London
