I find it quite funny that, apart from Fyfe and maybe, just maybe Jack Steven, I have NO other players really worthy of consideration  :-X

And I'm the second highest scoring team...

interesting note 11 (58%) players are either from Dublin or were on a Dublin list at some point.

He's a flowering gun, but you definitely named Lachie Neale over Ollie Wines just so you could say that :P

Both champs but surely Wines has been the more consistent pick of the Beijing boys this year!

neale averages 106 (same as wines) and has gone 130+ 4 times this year. Wines hasn't gone 130+ yet this year. Neale can throw in the odd shocker but he is averaging 115 in his last 7 games.

most importantly wines is playing carlton who yes suck, but they have loads and loads of taggers. Freo are playing against collingwood in a big friday night game so freo should be up and about after their poor performance and the pies play relatively free flowing.

Its why im playing mundy aswell. I think we have the edge and mundy is pretty consistent and im liking freo players next week.

Haha fair enough coach I won't question ya! Both will be manstays in the EurAsia team for years to come I'm sure ;)

Goldy VC anf Fyfe C

i reckon goldy almost should get captaincy. playing against GWS with no ruck

I saw enough from Sloane and the crows to be happy picking him. Mundy dropped to the bench and Neale dropped from the team.

very happy with hodge and the decision not to play roughy or gunston looks a good one.

Two-Timers

Despite the crazy amount of trading that ensues in the offseason, these 3 players are the only players (right now) to have played both for EurAsia and AAP Alliance

   AAP Alliance         EurAsia
Official   Games   Points   Ave   Games   Points   Ave
J Watson   2   250   125.00   1   120   120.00
D Beams   1   124   124.00   1   128   128.00
J Selwood   1   101   101.00   1   113   113.00

So, in total, 5 players have played every year in this match:

EurAsia's Dangerfield, AAP Alliances' Ablett, JP Kennedy, N Riewoldt, while Jobe has played 2 for AAP and 1 for EurAsia

World's Medal Winners

With Ablett and Bartel injured, you'd think only Dangerfield has a chance to add to his collection

(Best player in EurAsia v AAP Alliance)
2014: Jimmy Bartel (AAP Alliance)
2013: Patrick Dangerfield (EurAsia)
2012: Gary Ablett jnr (AAP Alliance)

Coach Fights

Holz is only the 2nd coach to get the coaching gig twice, but will be going for his first win against first time coach JROO8. They've generally been very close affairs, but the inaugural match in 2012 saw both teams crack 170+ with a final margin of only 3. In 2013, both teams combined for an astonishing 355 points, while 2014 was a more subdued affair.

2014: AAP Alliance (Nails) defeated Holz's EurAsia
2013: EurAsia (Ringo) defeated Maca24's AAP Alliance
2012: AAP Alliance (Honey Badger) defeated ossie85's EurAsia

Team 1   Coach   Score   Result   Team 2   Coach   Score   Margin   MatchT   Year
AAP Alliance   Honey Badger   176   defeated   EurAsia   ossie85   173   3   349   2012

Still to this day, I can't see how you can derive that information from that spreadsheet of yours. It's a mess :P

But amazing work all the same  :)

Interesting, I thought there would be more than 5 regulars amongst the 3 years.
