Firstly, I edited that bolding error you had so it looks neater. :)

On to the team. Upgrades left:
Backs - Saad, Oxley (Ibboston?)
Mids - Miller, CEY
Rucks - Grundy
Fwds - Lonie

Yes I like your notes there on Gray. Lonie to Gray Round 14 very good move. As for this week though:
I take it you like the idea of doing Grundy -> Jacobs, so I will run with that. I don't know much about Grundy's injury or scoring but Jacobs is a very good get.

Beams is a guy you just have to get in. $606k is a lot, but it's the lowest he will be for the next few weeks, and if you can do it, then you do it. I would get him in, and follow that up by getting Hamling.

But moving away from the options you have given, here are some more points to ponder: Seeing as you are going for your league win, an option like Maric might be better than Jacobs. I'm taking a look at the Round 22 fixture and Adelaide play West Coast, Richmond play Essendon, and your third option (Stef Martin), plays against Hawthorn. Essendon and Hawthorn have much easier ruck combos than West Coast, so there is some thought. Collingwood play Geelong so probably wise to trade Grundy. (If you are willing to wait a week, Sandilands vs Melbourne in Round 22 might be a good POD)

As for the rest of the team, Ibboston is not necessarily someone you need to trade moving forward, and if you do, make it your last upgrade and take a look at the finals draw for your trade in targets (Remember a POD with a good draw is just as good as the standard guy with a tough draw).

Sloane is someone I would definitely wait on for another week, see how he performs tomorrow. If he looks good then of course trade him in, but Priddis is always a solid option for you if you are willing to be patient until you raise the extra $100k.

In the defence Kade Simpson is probably one you need, it's only been one week under the new coach but he was playing a lot more midfield, expect his numbers to be good from now on.

Other than that, you have a solid side, good luck with your league matchups. I often make some conflicting points in my posts so it's up to you to filter what you like from what you don't, they are just some thoughts that I notice. :)

Yes using the iPhone is not the smartest/best way to start such a thread.
I like the Maric idea, especially with his Rnd 21 and 22 opponents.
I am also a Pies supporter and always Liked Beams, another good option.
This week I will do Maric, Beams and Hamling for Grundy, Miller and Saad.
This will make Rnd 13 look like...
Clarke to Fantasia
Dumont to Sloane
for now...

Awesome notes, thanks very much Powerbug and cheers for fixing up the bold!!
