Opportunity Gawn?

Nothing too extravagant about this post, just wondering if it is now too late to scoop up big Max Gawn as a forward upgrade for someone like Hogan who I tragically still have. His estimated price for this coming week is now verging on if not slightly beyond 500k, is there still value to be had here?

The Dees face the currently top-of-the-table dockers in Round 22, which is most commonly mine and many others' Supercoach Grand Final Week. If Freo has a top two spot cemented, Aaron Sandilands may not play against the Dees, and Gawn could flourish; but if he does play, I feel big Max could struggle. Thoughts?

Not necessarily. Goldy's a great ruck, but people forget.... he's not actually a tall ruckman. He gives away 10cm to Sandi. Sandi's ascendancy is absolutely based on being first to the ball, not better with it.

Gawn only gives away 3cm to Sandi.

Will be closer than you think IMO.
