was thinking saad to simmo but not sure now. possibly might to McIntosh to simmo instead.

Traded Oxley to Rance 3 weeks ago. So. Much. Regret.

Thinking Ox to Rance this week

Made this exact trade 3 weeks ago, hating it. To make it worse, I could've done Lumumba to Rance  :'(

Oxley is quite an inconsistent player so I think he's perfect as a D7 with a donut loophole at D8. See what he scores, and then take off Newnes/Saad to get his score if he plays well. I think you'll find his draw in the second half of the season lends itself to this quite nicely.

At the same time, if he has consecutive shockers down the track and his BE gets above 140ish id probably cash him in... Now is not the time to trade him though, IMO

Jesty

Both looked great on the weekend but think I will keep Ox and trade Saad.

Oxley out for me this week, bringing in hodge so I will miss out on cash but make up for it with consistent scoring. Keeping Saad for now atleast. Scores between 70-100 are better than 30-120 at this stage of the season for me. The week rest will be good for saad

lucky

Its really hard to trade these two when you have both newens and hibberd in the same team, and they are averaging about the same with less consistency/ceiling.

I may just keep all of them, or none, no clue...

elephants

Yeah similar boat, gotta look at trading at least one of Newnes, Hibbo, Saad and Oxley. Still no clue who :s

Wish I still had Oxley. Looks to be the keeper of the 2. Saad upgrade definitely.

Really? Saad has the consistency, and a much better draw over the next few weeks

Saad is more consistent, but I think Oxley has the potential to win you the odd game.
He's saved me twice this year in cash leagues and for that I'm keeping him for the odd 120+ game.
Originally I was going to trade out both Oxley and Saad but now I've traded out Newnes instead.

johnoP

such a tough call between the two-

Saad: Pros: Consistent 75-95 player who can D6, Mid/def, Great J/S
Cons: Cops a beating, low ceiling comparatively , Malceski may start hurting his scores.

Oxley: Pros: High Ceiling, good loophole option, will probably end up being worth more than Saad,
Cons: Has gone sub 50 three times, relies on intercept marks for big scores.

So really flip a coin stuff

Personally im giving Saad the flic and keeping ox for the byes-have a heap of M/D players for cover long term, Ox should make more cash when/if i trade him out.
I think saad will score much better over the short term than oxley though, i cant see him putting up big score against hawks or freo.

lucky

newnes last 4-5 weeks make me want to trade him out more.

yeh went both of those to hodge and houli

EDIT: i think maybe i might keep ox though because of more potential money and i just cop an extra donut this week

I probably need to trade both these guys this week due to the number of Rd.12 bye players I have and these 2 are the only ones of any value.

It kinda hurts when you see Ox has a BE of 8 though :(
Exactly this - when planning for byes selected a variety of rookies with different bye rounds to take advantage to upgrade to premiums.
Saad and Oxley appear to complicate this their scores of recent weeks but for me the question is I need 18 players and in the back of my mind is these 2 are still rookie players so how many more price rises can I get out of them. So basically I have to trade both to achieve what I was aiming for and my gut says do it,
