Can we still use the Emergency loophole during the Byes?

I have 9 playing mids this week, with McKenzie currently on my bench, but to maximise my on field points more, can I loophole with say CEY and Boston and see how Boston scores?

Yes. Players with the byes aren't locked out until the final game starts

**I'm in the same position, but don't see McKenzie getting named. Saints named 3 outs and there are currently 3 ins named on field. The other 3 ins were the last 3 named on the bench, which I knew doesn't usually mean much, but sometimes it does, and I think this is one of those cases. So unless they drop somebody else from the bench.

I'm a Saints man, I reckon he'll be named. But I guess we'll see in 15 minutes.

You can loophole, but the score needs to be ion the best 18.
