Up until recently I had planned to trade him out before his bye. Realised last week though that I can trade Lumumba instead and keep Saad around at D6. Then I can bring Smith in at D7 and they can hopefully form a solid partnership

Will you be keeping him?

Smith will score more than spudlumba, saad will not be a top 10 defender, smith could be after the bye

Tough one. I will be getting rid own two of Lumumba, Saad and Oxley next week. Saad is consistent but still a rookie, Oxley has the capacity to go large but also hit troughs and Lumumba has under performed compared to what I thought I was buying into but could right his average.

At the moment Saad is the most likely keeper in my team - will see how they go this week.

YoungGun

not a keeper but will be a good D7, ill be keeping on of him or lumumba. probably lumumba unfortunately because of adams bye

I'm personally going to keep him for the year and keep him as my mid/def emergency for any outs. Yes it's a fair bit of money to have on the bench although I think he will make a big difference covering players instead of playing a Hamling, Glenn, Boston type.

I'm trading him to rance next week, won't cost much either

GCSkiwi

Not first in line to be traded for me but also remember that this is the half way point, he could definitely hit the wall between now and the end so I'd be wary of planning him in as a keeper for the season. If I do keep him, it will be as a benchie, not on field.

Turning him into Beams next week

Trading him for Hodge next week

Big Mac

Upgrading him could be the difference between having say a Dumont at M9 compared to a Wallis

If you're going for overall though I guess the main concern is having the best team on the field, before worrying about bench players

Upgrading him to hodge next week

Seems he will have done his job after this week.

Whilst he may not get his BE of 77 against the stingy Freo Dockers, he won't drop a lot prior to his bye.

Ideally he will go out and a round 11 rookie will emerge.

Names on my watch list include Hamling, Lever, McBean, Biggs, Dick, O'Rourke and Beasley.

The other option of course is upgrading to a R11 bye gun. This needs cash though.

I find this a very tricky round, especially as any player traded in this week will have a forced donut in one of the following 2 weeks - unless you get a R13 guy and trade out for his bye.

HotTiges

Surely he'll drop off..hes been good but i reckon bye time is the time to make a call on him..i reckon ill cull him

A keeper, yes. Especially for those in " trade - trouble ". But in my view a keeper although at D7 or D8 preferably.   ???
