East 17.16.118 lost to West 19.14.128
(Real: 1774 vs 1916)

West gets some pride back in a comfortable yet tense finish - a Bell capitulation or great Simpson score would've won it for East, but Bell held strong to support his selection. Vice-captains were a bone of contention for the coaches, with Martin and Sloane combining for just 128 points, excluding the bonuses. Nat "CD sure do love me" Fyfe wins his second All-American for the series, making him the outright leader for this honour and the distinguished title of East vs West MVP. Bell (and if not, Parker or Beams) stopped the domination of SF for the Best in the West medals, while the giant Sandilands earned the Beast-title, meaning all three Beast winners were ruckman, joining Naitanui and Goldstein (with Blicavs also winning All-American for East). 2-1 the series finishes, but now West have a result on the board, hopefully a sign of things to come next season.

Nat Fyfe wins All-American
Aaron Sandilands wins Beast of the East Medal
Tom Bell* wins Best in the West Medal

*Parker and Beams finished equal on points, so I gave it to Bell who, as we all know, got West over the line late (scoring just slightly below the other two)

Best
East: Sandilands, Murphy, Jacobs, Macrae, Kennedy, Pendlebury, Armitage, Mitchell, Neale, Cotchin
West: Fyfe, Parker, Beams, Bell, Martin, Hannebery, Deledio, Swan, Hurley, Mundy

And just quickly, a ranking of the scores over the all-star rounds:
1. East 2169 (memph)
2. West 2044 (Jukes)
3. East 1995 (ele)
4. West 1916 (kb)
5. West 1787 (FF)
6. East 1774 (psk)

So in total, East scored 5938 points at an average of 1979.33 per week, while West scored 5747 at an average of 1915.67.

I thought the trophy would have been lifted at the end of game 2 (as that was when the series was won). I'm going to deeply ponder over this season and some of the decisions I've made haha

I'm taking this as a sign for the rest of the season.

Top-ranked coach will be from Quito :P

I think Todd Goldstein (290) takes the big trophy by 1 points against  Nat Fyfe (289) and 5 points ahead Mark Blicavs (285) for man of the series.

Fyfe was BOG in two games, I gave that a little more merit than total points
