So many stupid skill errors that you just don't see from other teams.

Take those out; we were better than Collingwood today.

Which makes this the most frustrating match for me than that horrible Brisbane game last year.

I think frustrating is definitely the right word

Not the same feeling like I had against Port last week and GWS a few weeks prior

roo boys!

Gee Pedo has a good set of hands. Even though he let me down in WXV today he's still a favourite of mine

Shame to see him clunk 3-4 really impressive pack marks then spill a couple on the lead you'd expect him to take.

Also saw him line up in a centre bounce or two on Pendles...the next Blicavs! :P

haha Pedo's been good the past few weeks

Rightly or wrongly though Dawes is likely to take his spot the moment Pedo puts a foot wrong

Hopefully Pedo keeps his spot this week and Dawes is made to work his way back in the twos  :)

I have been calling for Pedo for so long, he might not always be that big power forward but he definitely takes more marks and has more kicks than Dawes. Always has a crack too.

Big Pedo Bear can actually mark the ball, whereas Dawes isn't programmed for that.

Would have Pedo bear in the team ANY day over Dawes at the moment. I would get large satisfaction in seeing Dawes work for his spot.

Also, Toumpas needs to go; some of his decision making is absolutely pathetic.

I agree on dropping Toump. He does some nice things sometimes that make you go hey, he might be alright. But other times it is stupid decisions. Whether it be right or wrong, he needs to make a decision and roll go with it. I don't have a problem with him making a decision even if it is the wrong one, he just needs to be sure and confident about it. I'd actually like to see him in the middle and get some outside run going, but at the moment he is showering me.

Purps I think you might be letting your bias get ahead of you here. Yes he makes mistakes - He's only played 20 games or so. But how else is he going to learn if not at AFL level? In the VFL he has all the time in the world, he would almost never get caught in the same situations. He is actually starting to win the ball now and the rest will come soon.

I don't see you wanting Gawn out of the side for attempting to mark in the goalsquare instead of spoil, which imo is worse than what Toumpas did in the same spot.

He didn't throw the footy between his legs. He didn't kick it to a Collingwood player in our defensive 50, or handball it to them. He didn't shirk a contest, or miss a tackle. He won the ball and spread from the contest. He was far from our worst

However true that his mistakes weren't as costly or stupid as the aforementioned, they were more frequent. Decisions like handballing it automatically to Dunn who had a Collingwood player already on him, instead of waiting a moment and handball it to the free man coming up beside him. Or holding onto the ball over and over again when trying to make a decision, allowing the best options to get manned up, and a congestion ensues.

Fitzy won't make that mistake ever again, Dunn has proven his worth and probably will kick it straight to an opposition again in his career, and that was Gawn's first AFL match in a long time. Toumpas has played, what, 30-odd games? These decision errors aren't really seen anywhere else this frequently for a player.

Toumpas can learn the correct decisions perfectly in the VFL for the rest of the year; then I hope he gets delisted. I'm pretty tired at being disappointed in him.
