Got 2 spots left in my forward line and i reckon these are prob the best to choose from already got Gray, Swan, Dusty, Goddard

GoLions

I'm in almost the same position as you, probably gonna grab Buddy this week. Lids or Dahl as the last spot, probably Lids if he can continue on with this form. Might be a POD as well (although so would Dahl).

Lids>Titchell+Dahl>Buddy

Lids comfortably on average score, my only concern is whether he could miss games with his ankle. Titchell I think was too good to ignore at 400k but now is a bit of a risky punt given how he's struggled to get and hold a spot in the past. But simila to Lids I hink if he's playing he'll score well. Dahl unproven but had a substantial improvement last yearand looks to be the goods this year, has been pretty consistent for a fwd too. Buddy I think has a great history but has really not performed this year and I wouldn't be bringing him in until he's strung a few more scores on. If he goes 120+ this weekend then I could rethink it But at the moment I'm not even thinking about him to be honest.

Wouldn't be grabbing Buddy after a few good scores as that probably means he is about to have a bad patch
Gotta be strategic with when you jump on - I got on last week for little more than free and am happy so far

Lids > Buddy > Dahl > Titch for me

no eye deer

If you wanted Buddy, last week was the week. He was always going to kill the Blues. In saying that, he should kill the Suns as well. It's now or never for him.
Me, I decided against Buddy last week, so it's Dahl in this week. Might hurt a bit in the short term, but I will feel a lot more secure around finals time when Buddy throws in a couple of shockers or misses games.

Buddy has a good run, hard to ignore. plus a ripper finals draw with the final 3 rounds against GWS, saints and Suns (Rd 23 for overall only..)

Lids > Buddy > Dahl > Titch for me

I'd wait for him to prove he can actually score some big scores is more the point. Look at these 4 players scores so far:

Dahl: 109, 112, 86, 136, 97, 79, 106, 124, 125
Buddy: 90, 104, 103, 99, 80, 62, 119, 47, 149
Titch: -, -, -, -, 114, 125, 128, 80, 97
Lids: 66, -, -, -, -, 60, 133, 142,134

So, in games they've played together, Titch has outscored Buddy in 4/5.
Each round so far, Dahl has outscored Buddy in 6/9 rounds, and in 2 of those rounds Dahl still tonned up so nothing to be upset with.
Lids started slow but has killed it in his last 3.

There's a reason Buddy is the cheapest of the lot of them at the moment. Given it's 25k more to get someone who's beaten him 4/5 times in Titch, he doesn't seem to be the smart option. Sure if you want someone who'll give you a 150+ score then get Buddy. But he'll do that maybe twice more in the rest of the season, but I'm willing to be he'll be sub 90 more times than that. I agree he could well go large against the suns again this week, as I agreed he would dominate the blues last week. But picking a player based on the instantaneous future, while ignoring the generally not great form they're in is the definition of short sighted. Plenty more rounds to play after the suns...

Though that argument could easily be applied to me, paying attention to 9 games this year and ignoring previous seasons could also be short sighted. YMMV
