I've still got Heeney too and I think at this stage hold him. He can't be far off fit again and hopefully will break back into the team, once the 7 is gone from his average he still has cash to make. So by virtue of that alone, option 2. Helps that I also don't think Buddy is that crash hot an option, and assuming Mitchell is Tom I think you missed him cheap and he isn't someone I'd want to pay 500k for just yet...

Iv held Heeney the whole way but now Rocky's out its flowered by byes and i am forced to dump either Rocky or Heeney.

thanks mate thats the option i was thinking. but yeah i also have rocky and heeney so i dunno.

Asparagus

I have both Rocky and Heeney and am holding.
Held Heeney too long to trade him now and Rocky should be back by rnd. 12.
Others issues too like Krak, Miller, Clark etc. to deal with 1st.

It will depend on how you're set for byes and how hard you're pushing for overall position vs league wins. I have Heeney and Rocky also but a move like Miller to Dumont would add (hopefully) another player in round 12, then it just depends what the rest of your team is doing. But thinking long term, Heeney could still make another 100+k, Buddy will lose you as many/more games than he wins you and Titch has a couple of 120 scores in a 5 game average potentially making him look better than he is. I've got him but I got him earlier, not sure he's where I would want to spend that much cash now.

So, basically the way I'm looking at Heeney/Rocky is I can worry excessively about the byes or I can accept that I might drop round 12 in order to make round 13-22 better... Rocky is a gun and Heeney has too much potential to get rid of. Having said that, if Heeney isn't looking like he'll be back in the team by round 12 then he could become someone like Sloane/Jelwood if they're firing again

Have both Rocky and Heeney myself. As long as Dumont is getting a game and I incur no further injuries in the midfield I will hold.

im thinking of after the first bye heeney to hamling via mckenzie or saad stright to hamling depending on his output this week.

option 2, miller has maxed out in price & get Goddard/Dahl/Del in your forwards, ,Tich is now 500k u missed the boat and Buddy is far less consistant.

??? if you've held Heeney this long, why trade now?!?
He has money to make still... the only reason you should have held him so far.
Surely you have others to downgrade now instead?

Jay

Yeah I think you may as well hang onto Heeney now. Whereas Miller seems just about cooked :-\

I hate the " held him this long " call. I still have him in my side, but if I didn't have other issues he would of been gone long ago. There is no guarantee that he will walk straight back into the team, there is no chance he will be back before his bye. So if your going for overall your keeping him for the rest of the year

Agree, plans change each week due to what happens or doesn't happen on the field. One week's keeper is next week's trade bait
