Buddy (short-term) or Hogan (long-term)

surely with your ruck stocks you would love Goldy.

got to be Goldy or Fyfe for any club I would say.

Tall forwards are more important than rucks

And I'd prefer Stefan to Goldy anyway :P

Goldy is 2 years younger and better. silly call.

Rucks are important you can have all the tall forwards you want if you cant get them the ball they are useless.

elephants

Pendles or Fyfe for me, maybe Danger if those two aren't aval.

Never said Stefan was better, just I prefer him haha

We have Heppell, Watson, Stants, Hibberd, BJ, Zacka, Myers, etc to get the ball up there. Supply isn't short for us - we just squander our inside-50s. And that's where the half dozen contested marks/marks inside 50 a game that Buddy and Hoges product would come in handy - it's an extra ~6 goals a game right there - 4 for the new guy, and 2 more for Daniher because some pressure is relieved, plus it'd allow Carlisle, Hooker, and Hurley to play down back for good, so we'd concede less goals too.

Fyfe by a mile. Has everything on his side.

Goldy wouldn't be in my top 10. Been proven time and time again that having a dominant ruckman doesn't equate to much.
Eg. Sandi winning the hit outs to advantage record against Richmond.. Has a midfield of Fyfe, Neale, Mundy Barlow, Hill etc and they still lose to a side well below them.
I know Goldy does more around the ground than most rucks but if I was going after a ruck I'd take NicNat. Younger, more athletic, more upside.

Nic Nat been abit of a flop recently. if your going to take anyone it would be Blicavs but more as just a beast midfielder.

Injuries have played a large part in that though. If he can get his body right I think he will be the clear dominant ruckman of the AFL in the next couple of years.

Massive if though. Hard to go past Hogan for me.

So, he's injury prone and therefore more of a risk? :P

his game is built on athletecism as well so thats always a worry and he probably wont last as long as the other rucks. pretty disrespectful to Goldy who was almost AA twice already and is locked to get it this year. Im not sure a fully fit Nic Nat would be able to catch up to him. There is more to being a ruck than just being able to jump.
