RDT Round 10 Trades

Ok, I'll kick it off.

Looking at bringing in a mid with the Rd.13 bye. I think I've narrowed it down to the 3 GWS boys of Shiel, Ward, Treloar or Gaff as a POD? All priced roughly the same with similar averages.

I know what you're thinking, and I thought the same to.....Gaff :o Looking at this stats though, 5 tons, 3 90s and a 76. Hasn't punched out any monster scores but has been very consistent. Eagles draw has been relatively soft though so far.

Thoughts on the above or any other Rd.13 bye options you think are better (I already have Ebert and have ruled out Priddis as I don't think he is worth 60-70K extra).

I have been keeping an eye on Gaff,mainly for AF he has been fairly consistent but his ceiling is not that high and this is why I have him on watch still.
Have you considered Shuey at all?
Lows of 59,64 and 83 with 6 tons of 100,101,105,109,119 and 120
He is Eagles 5th highest goal kicker so far this season and our 3rd highest tackler(50) behind Priddis(62) and Cripps(60) next nearest to them is Nic Nat with 29.
He has a higher ceiling than Gaff as well.

And another who I haven't had a look at yet who is playing very well atm and is probably cheap is Masten.

Yeah Shuey and Masten are both in the mix as well. There's probably not much different between all these guys really.

I was going to make a list of guys that are worth targeting. Plans are likely to change now with Rocky looking to miss an extended amount of time (3 or 4 games). Round 13 I think I had a couple I was looking at including Priddis and Masten

Thinking of going along the same lines and go Touk + Kelly to Ebert + Dumont, Ebert quite cheap at 520k

im looking at oxley out to one of shaw, simpson, yeo i think the best options - if i down krak to hamling (via mckenzie dpp) i can get picken but not paying overs for hodge.

already got kelly, newnes, hibberd, saad, lever, mkintosh as the other 6

Definitely Ward out of that lot. Have had him since the start in AF and RDT, apart from last week has been very good, 85 lowest score, and 6/8 tons before last week.

I'm going either Kelly or Oxley to Yeo, and then maybe McCarthy to a Dumont or Boston via DPP.

Rocky dilemma.

I wasn't going to trade this week but debating in my head to trade or hold Rocky. He's missing Round 11 anyway so really only missing him for 2-3 games. It's effectively using 2 trades to trade him out as you'd want him back later.

have to review structures for byes but may hold

This is probably the only comp I'll be holding Rocky I think. Everyone in my cash league has him so no point trading him out at this stage

Probably going to trade Rocky. This Comp has become my priority after my rubbish start in SC so I'm pushing hard for a high finish and the risk of Rocky not playing in Rd.12, which is most likely going to be the lowest scoring of the byes rounds, is too much for me.

If I trade Rocky I can bring in another premo mid as well trading Oxley to Hodge, whilst keeping my bye structures intact. Seems a no-brainer to me ;)

I am in the same boat but the way I look at it is if he is missing in round 12 I can offload him to a round 11 premium mid like Smith/Mitchell so I am holding until then and trying to get my structure and cash right this week
