Is Andrew Walker value for money?

Anyone considering picking Andrew Walker up in a few rounds after Carltons bye?

I know he had an injury interrupted preseason but for $397,000 (might drop as low as $365 odd) and a current b/e of 138 he is one I'm considering as a D6 as a POD.

With the upheaval at Carlton it really depends what role Baker wants him to play.
Looks like he's been playing a bit of lock down defense this year so if Baker frees him up into the SC friendly rebounding HB role he'd be a no brainer.

That being said, with Gibbs and Judd out, the team structure isn't going to look like it will for the rest of the season... He should bounce back but has had his injury problems to be wary of. Maybe to pick up after the bye?

I'll be looking for value defenders and Walker seems like a good option. Will watch to see how he's used with Docherty.
