Got 480k to spend on a back, so unfortunately can't afford McDonald.

A few proven premiums have bottomed out in Hibberd, Kelly and Burgoyne. Or is it worth going with the blokes in form like Rance, Hurley, Murphy, McGovern or Gibson?

Thanks :)

MC

Rance or Hibberd are the safest choices in my opinion. Proven scorers at a discounted price  ;)

Big Mac

Hibberd a fairly safe pick but I like the look of McGovern

No one stands out for me out of that lot. Hibberd seems the best value and might have found some form after last weeks effort. If I was looking to bring in a defender this week I'd go with Hibberd or Simpson. I assume you already have Simmo?

Correct, mate.

Leaning towards Rance or Hibberd - but seeming like you could just pick a name out of a hat and get a similar result ???

Gibbo! The 2 games that all 3 of him, Lake and Frawley have played together he has scored 108 and 106.
Plays the 3rd man up better than anyone else in the league so if they all play together he will average close to 100

I just can't fathom how anyone could pick

the 47th ranked defender averaging 79 - also is playing like a fat arsed draught horse on a low grade of diesel

over

the 6th ranked defender averaging 97 who is playing like a raging bull, taking marks, dishing out don't argues - albeit with a bun / ponytail top knot thingy.

Gibson been solid for me. Gets my vote.

Hibberd does have history, but a week ago everyone was spewing they had him. Amazing how 1 game can change everyone's thoughts

I like Hurley as a POD

Who is this warrior like pony-tailed rage machine you speak of ? is he a hobbyist cage fighter in his spare time? sounds like one hell of a fierce beast.....with a top knot.

The bun top knot thingy is a deal breaker...
