Terry Wallace was really interesting (for a change) on SEN today.

His take on Carrrlton and Mick was that the club was going to send Mick to the slaughterhouse the next 2 weeks - partly because of who they play -Swans and Crows - and any team is a tough assignment for Carlton at the moment - and then give the interim coach at least a slight chance of winning after the bye against Port when Gibbbs, Judd etc will be back and mis-firing.

That there is a 5 hyphen sentence.  ;D

Mick sussed it out and said stuff you and pulled the trigger and essentially walked.

Plough said back in his Richmond days, he stayed an extra week to face the might of the Bulldogs - who duly saluted - before stepping aside to allow Jade Rawlings to have a first up win against West Coast.

There better be lots of new young cheap players in the next week or 2 otherwise upgrading in the bye rounds will be tough , this week is not overflowing with cheap picks with JS either  :'(

I think Carlton is where our best hopes lie.

A few young guys will get more games and they will win the wooden spoon which is great for shower hanging on mates.

I know Judd and Gibbs are confirmed out. Where did Murphy come from? He was at the airport, albeit late last I heard

He could be good for a straight swap for Read over the byes!

Would have been real nice if he had Fwd status
